Recharge and reconnect with nature at our exclusive Safari and Yoga Retreat, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime 7 day all-inclusive retreat in a 29,000 acre private conservancy teaming with wildlife. Guests will stay in luxury tented accommodation, right on the edge of the Maasai Mara, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Kenyan wilderness.
During the week there will be the option to take part in daily game drives, twice daily yoga classes, sunrise experiences with the lions, sundowners with the hyenas, night drives, walking safaris, bike rides, gourmet meals out in the bush, savouring delicious vegetables picked from the on-site ecological garden, an evening with a local herbalist and medicine man, and a cultural visit to a Masai village to meet the community, to see their houses and to experience the local singing, dancing, bead work, metal work, and fire making skills.
On our safari drives we will follow the lives of leopards, lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, monkeys and much more. The area is abundant with animals. Many of them walk through the camp at night, while the guards and rangers protect our tents.
There is an outdoor pool, a sauna and a treatment tent for relaxing and having massages between game drives.
Designed for ultimate relaxation, this retreat offers a chance to rest, to reset, and to reconnect with your best self, whilst soaking up the calming energies of this unique and ancient land.
Retreat places are limited to 16 guests. In previous years the retreat had been fully booked. This year we are delighted to be opening up bookings to WeTravel customers.
This video was captured by a talented local Kenyan videographer called Allan Yegon, during our 2023 retreat. Huge thanks to you Allan, and to Nicci Parry for leading such beautiful yoga.

"We wanted to send you the most enormous thank you for the most wonderful holiday. It's still hard to believe that it happened! The Entumoto team were so kind, attentive and caring. The food was delicious, and meals were always fun and sociable, and those times when I needed some quiet Wilson came up with a tray to tempt me to eat. What a super star he is.
Yoga and the atmosphere that you both created was perfect and enhanced the spirituality of the incredible landscape and my connection with it. The view from our tent is etched in my mind - so very special and healing. Thank you.
As to the safari trips - wow! It's as though the Gods had planned the perfect trips for us! The list we kept of what we saw is huge and so many young made it even more special. Andrew was the most fabulous guide - gentle, passionate about his role and such an informative encyclopaedia on the animals and environment. A complete star.
I could keep going on - the tents were wonderful and the non-fenced free setting really deepened the connection to the earth, wildlife and the Masai. It has really affected me. So many really special moments and incredible memories.
You, and all those who were there, made a brilliant holiday.
A huge thank you." - Alison Mundy, UK, November 2023

"Our trip to Entumoto was unforgettable. The camp has a lovely family feel to it, nestled in the hills in its own private conservancy. Our favourite bits were the walking safaris and the wonderful birdlife. One evening, during sundowners, we were surrounded by elephants! And of course, the watering hole! It’s like the garden of Eden - full of wildlife.” - Amanda Campbell, UK, November 2022
The camp has two tiers of accommodation split into two sites, the Main area and the Toto area. The Main area is the more luxurious choice, as the site has the pool, pool bar, sauna, yoga deck and massage tents within it. Each tent in the Main area has it's own stunning view over the conservancy from the tent veranda. The Main area is a 3 minute walk downhill to the dining area and the main lounge.
The Toto area is the smaller of the two sites. It is next to the dining area and main lounge. All guests have access to all the facilities like the pool but, they are a 5 minute walk uphill from the Toto site. The views from the Toto tents are not quite as spectacular as those from the Main area, but you are still immersed in nature and surrounded by wildlife.
All the tents are made of a multilayered canvas, are custom designed with beautiful antique furniture, transporting you back to the heydey of a classic, romantic safari. The tents are set a hundred meters apart from each other for your privacy.
The main guest area consists of a sitting area, dining area, bar, fire, library, games cupboard and veranda with views of the abundant countryside. The decor is homely and warm, with beautifully handcrafted artefacts, bespoke antiques, lavish sofas, books and candlelight.
Main meals are served in the dining area and pre dinner drinks and snacks in the lounge.
The Main site has a pool with sun beds, a pool house, pool bar, sauna and a yoga deck for you to enjoy at your leisure. The massage parlour and the sauna are open for relaxing after a long safari drive. You can also book manicures and pedicures if you feel like a bit of TLC.
Wifi is available in the lounge as we now have satellite broadband! Safaricom mobile phone signal is good quality throughout the camp.
Breakfast consists of a full range of fruits and cereals. You may also order a cooked English breakfast of your choosing.
Lunch is a lighter affair – with locally sourced produce and fresh vegetables from our private vegetable garden, either at camp or out under an acacia tree in the conservancy.
Evening drinks by the open fireplace or the pool allow us to share the adventures of the day. Sundowners are frequently served in a variety of beautiful locations around the conservancy.
Dinner is served at your convenience and is a delicious and varied 3-course meal.
All meals and drinks can be served in the privacy of your own veranda, in our dining area with a warm fire or in the bush for a more remote dining experience.
Vegetable garden
The camp takes pride in growing their own fruits and vegetables in a huge ecological garden – bearing aubergines, kale, avocados, passion fruit, papaya and mango as well herbs such as parsley, basil, fresh mint and dill. The camp is organically minded and diet conscious and the chefs can create individual dishes for each guest according to dietary requirements.
You will be guided on both day and night safari drives in open-air comfortable 4x4 vehicles around the private conservancy. The guides will take you at your pace, stopping to spend time with the animals so you have the chance to take in their magnificence.
Stopping off for a picnic lunch or sundowners on Lion Rock will allow you to become really present with the surroundings and bask in the serenity of the landscape.
You will also venture out on at least one walking safari during the week. This creates an opportunity connect more deeply to the land, to learn about the flora and fauna and how the locals use the plants medicinally. It heightens the senses to the aliveness of the area, and brings you closer to the cycles of nature that makes this conservancy so completely unique.
In the morning, we will have the option to do a sunrise yoga class at 7am. Or, if we venture out on an early morning drive, there will be a class on offer at around 11am, once we're back at camp. An afternoon yoga session will also be available at around 4pm, prior to sundowners . All classes are optional and all levels are welcome but a willingness to explore different ways of moving and an open mind will help. There will be lots of variations offered to suit us all!

Lisa's classes are guided by her love of anatomy and physiology and the way in which the body wants to constantly heal itself. She believes that moving and breathing enables the tissues and the fluid systems to pulse in an intelligent and healing way, connecting us to our own innate wisdom. When we tune in and truly listen to what is going on, our mental, emotional, physical and psychic bodies can resonate with mindfulness and clarity.
Lisa is passionate about the power of yoga. She says it helps us to transcend our limitations and to find increasing freedom in our lives. Lisa enjoys assisting others in their journey within and helps her clients to find acceptance and peace no matter where they are in their yoga practice.
