Meet your guide at 8:30 AM and depart on a guided tour of Accra.  You will visit the following sites in town:

-  Kwame Nkrumah Monument 

-  Independence Square 

- Makola Market 

- Accra historic Jamestown 

- W.E.B. Du Bois Center 

Throughout the day, lunch and dinner is provided.

Meet your driver at 6:00 AM .Experience a  World Heritage site, Elmina Castle. Those of the Diaspora may have a "Door of Return'' ceremony at the castle (extra fee). Morning visit to the rainforest canopy walkway at Kakum National Park will be eventful. We will end our day with a visit to nearby crocodile ponds.

Food and Gratuities are not included. 

As we have been experienced such a monumental journey of the African Diaspora, the next day is a good day to relax and regroup. You can enjoy Accra on your own that day. We recommend the following things to do that:

-Labadi Beach

-Accra Mall

Restaurant hunting

-Legon Botancial Gardens (great for kids)

-Nightlife in Accra is a whole experience I encourage

We will fly to Kumasi using Passion Air

A visit to the Ashanti Kingdom starts with a tour at the Manhyia Palace. You will about our chieftaincy rights and the famous "Golden Stool". Next off, we will visit Bonwire,  a community filled skilled kente weavers. You will learn the importance of African weaving fashion.  Lake Bosomtwe is another destination we will go for the day. Lake Bostomtwe is crater lake in the middle of the forest. Private entertainment of traditional Ashanti dancers will be the end to awesome journey into the Ashanti Kingdom.

As we recognize you flew back into Accra and had a wonderful experience., we want to provide you an experience that is relaxing and within nature. Therefore, we will provide you a picnic experience at the Aburi Botanical Gardens. Here you will be able to capture Instagram worthy photos and quiet time to relax. Aburi provides  tranquil setting for walks, picnics & exercise amid rare trees & plants, including tall palms. 

Lunch is included.

This is a free day to relax. You can do the following:

- Purchase last minute souvenirs for friends and family

- Enjoy Accra sightseeing & nightlife

- Take your Covid-19 test for departure purposes

 Spend the day along the Volta River and enjoy the beauty through a boat tour. 

Lunch is not included in this tour. 

You will departing back to Toronto.  Please ensure you have the following:

1. A negative COVID-19 test result

2. Yellow Fever Card

3. Passport and Flight details

4. Your luggage is within the requirements of the airline.
