Full day in Serengeti National Park

Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park – Witness the Wildebeest Migration & Big 5

Rise with the sun and embark on an unforgettable full-day game drive in the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to Africa’s most spectacular wildlife displays. After an early breakfast, we set out into the vast golden plains, where the wilderness comes to life.

Morning Game Drive – The Big 5 & Predators

As the first light of day spreads across the savanna, predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs take advantage of the cool temperatures to hunt. With a bit of luck, we may witness an intense predator-prey interaction as they stalk their next meal. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and elusive rhinos, completing the famed Big 5.

Midday Break – Picnic in the Wild

Around midday, we pause for a scenic bush picnic or head to a nearby lodge for a leisurely lunch. This is the perfect time to relax and soak in the breathtaking views of the Serengeti's endless landscapes.

Afternoon Game Drive – Following the Great Migration

In the afternoon, we shift our focus to the awe-inspiring Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s greatest spectacles. Depending on the season, we track the movement of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles as they traverse the Serengeti in search of fresh grazing lands. If lucky, we may witness a dramatic river crossing, where herds bravely navigate crocodile-infested waters.

Throughout the day, our expert guide will share insights into the park’s rich ecosystem, ensuring you don’t miss a single moment of this wildlife wonderland.

As the sun sets, we return to camp or lodge, reflecting on a day filled with adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the starlit African sky, reliving the magic of the Serengeti.

Ngorongoro crater

You never forget the first time you see Ngorongoro Crater from above. Looking out from the rim of this extraordinary volcanic crater is like gazing down upon a lost world of wildlife and astonishing beauty. The drive down into the crater will be just as special, taking you down onto the crater floor where nature rules and no human being may pass the night. You'll spend the best part of a day exploring this remarkable place, seeing its lions, hyenas, black rhinos, elephants, flamingos and so much more. And when it comes time to leave, you'll keep looking back over your shoulder trying to hold these experiences in your memory.

Tarangire National Park

Wherever you go in Tarangire National Park, you’ll come across the park’s famous and larger-than-life baobab trees and elephants. These are the twin elements that give this park so much personality. There is, of course, so much more. We don’t just mean the huge populations of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras. Or the rugged landscape of rocky hills and rivers, swamps and savannah plains. You also have an excellent chance of seeing lions here – Tarangire is a real lion stronghold – and keep an eye out for leopards and cheetahs as well.
