7 Days 6 Nights Safari Itinerary 

OVERVIEW

The Safari starts in Amboseli National Park one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Thereafter proceed to Lake Nakuru National park - Known for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives and Then Lake Naivasha. This Safari ends in Masai Mara National reserve - Famous for the abundance of lion, the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Masai people, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.


DAY 1– NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Lodge/Camp well in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park, a park famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

DAY 2– FULL DAY AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive return back to camp for breakfast. after breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.


DAY 3– AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK TO L. NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart Amboseli in the morning and drive via Nairobi to the floor of the Rift Valley with hot or picnic lunch en route to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving for your afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

DAY 4– LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO L. NAIVASHA

Enjoy a morning game drive in Nakuru, and then depart for Naivasha arriving the Lodge in time for lunch. Optional Afternoon boat ride at Lake Naivasha that takes you to Crescent Island for a walking safari. This is one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators. Return to the Resort for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: L. NAIVASHA TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Take lunch at the Camp/Lodge as you relax before proceeding to the afternoon game drive. Proceed with the afternoon game drive thereafter through the park in search animals. Be keen to spot the wildebeests, zebras, lion, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo, Thompson’s gazelle, hyena, black-backed and side-striped jackals, impala, bat-eared foxes, baboons, warthog, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, waterbuck, reed-buck, hippo, crocodile and elands. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight at camp.

DAY 6– FULL DAY MASAI MARA

This day is spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our full day game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve.

Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.

DAY 7– MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI (HOTEL OR AIRPORT)

We start the day with an early morning game drive from 6.30am to 9.00am you might be lucky to witness hunting. We depart from our safari lodge/camp at 10a.m and return to bustling Nairobi, arriving at about 16:00 in the afternoon. This unforgettable 6-Day Safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi.
