First thing in the morning, your guide will take you to exchange your currency for Cedi. For guests who prefer to use the ATM or bank, you would be taken to the closest one available to get some money.

The tour will then begin with Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm located at Akuapem Mampong, in the Eastern part of Ghana. Tourists get to experience a demonstration of the planting of cocoa seeds, the harvesting and drying of the seeds and pods. The tour guide will walk you through the farm while pondering over the history and the various stages of cocoa processing. 

Later, we will visit the Aburi  Botanical Gardens, a very beautiful and popular destination on the hills of Aburi in the Eastern part of Ghana, a few kilometers away from the main city, Accra. The garden is made up of hundreds of plants, which have a lot of medicinal uses, some of which are used to cure many illnesses. They are used to make different spices and are also used for beautification purposes. There is also a carved tree that looks like a real dead tree, which represents the struggles of life. Most of the trees were planted by some colonial masters and other important leaders around Africa.

The second day will start with a drive from Accra to Akosombo, to visit the Cedi Beads Factory. This is a site for learning bead making and checking out already-made glass beads displayed for purchase. Guests will get the opportunity to experience the process of making traditional African beads with glass from start to finish.

Guests can relax at the hotel or go swimming, enjoy the incredible, breathtaking scenery and enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the tranquil Lake Volta, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world. We will glide across the shimmering waters, marvel at the surrounding scenery, and catch a view from the famous Adomi Bridge. 

Drive back to Accra.

On this Day, we will visit the Kakum National Park and walk on the canopy
walkway made up of bridges suspended in the air, supported by the big trees in the forest. The bridges give a bird's-eye view and a breathtaking view of the forest.  The Canopy is 11 to 40 meters above the ground, built in 1995

You will also move to the Cape Coast Castle, which is your last destination for the day. Here you would learn more about the history of slavery and also see the "Gate of no Return".

Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, also known as the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. It is the last resting place of the first President of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. This museum is dedicated to him to honor his dedication in liberating Ghana, formerly known as the Gold Coast, from colonial rule. The Museum houses the personal effects and publications of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and pictures showing his life history with some of the most famous people of his time.    

The Arts and Crafts market can also be simply known as the Arts Center. There are so many different stalls selling different varieties of Ghanaian-inspired arts and crafts, and this is one of the best places to shop for souvenirs in Accra. There is so much to see and buy from woven Kente cloth, wooden sculptures, earrings, and other fashion accessories, matched with the latest in African Attire fashion from all over Ghana.  

Independence Square, also known as Black Star Square, is a vast, empty expanse of concrete overlooked by spectator stands that can seat about 30,000 people. The Independence Arch was an inspiration to other African countries vying for independence and the Flame of African Liberation. The roundabout before the square contains, in the center, the Black Star Gate, also known as the Black Star Monument, which was built in 1961.

In the evening, you will have a nightlife experience in Accra. You would be able to visit any of the hangout options available in Accra to enjoy contemporary live band music with good food and drinks.

On the last day, you will have some time for last minute preparations like exploring the city on their own (depending on your time of departure), packing, hotel checkout before checking in at the airport for final departure.
