After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Sentrim Lodge.

Amboseli overview: “Home of the African Elephant” – Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. – Amboseli offers great wildlife viewing, and four of the Big Five are present. Rhinos are absent, but big herds of elephants reliably move to and from the marshy swamps in the center of the park. Buffalo, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra and gazelle are all very common. Lions are the easiest to spot of the big cats, but sightings are hit-and-miss.

Full day to soak up life at the Amboseli National Park. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be inclusive in the package. Overnights will be at your chosen standard or luxury accommodation camp or lodge. 

After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch enroute.  You will be taken on a boat trip in Lake Naivasha. After the boat ride, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drive enroute to Mara Sopa Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Lake Naivasha is one of Africa’s most renowned fresh water lakes and a boat safari ride here allows you to spot Hippo and numerous Bird species including Kingfisher, Fish Eagle, Herons, Jacana and more. The lake itself is remarkably picturesque, set against a purple backdrop of the Eburru volcanic mountain range and lined by thick yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea trees. In terms of wildlife the lake is home to over a thousand protected Hippo and the shores of the lake also host small numbers of Giraffe, Zebra, Waterbuck and the odd eland and wildebeest. A Lake Naivasha Boat ride is therefore an exciting yet relaxing lake safari experience with plenty of interesting sights to enjoy. 

Game drive before breakfast. Breakfast . Depart for Masai Mara with lunch enroute to the Masai Mara. On arrival in Mara take an evening game drive and check in to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara Lodge or similar 

Lake Nakuru overview: A beautiful wildlife haven” – On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. You will enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Common Animals in Lake Nakuru National Park: Lake Nakuru National park is a magnificent birdlife and wildlife haven hosting a wide range of bird species together with several animal species. Popularly known for Lake Nakuru and the flamingos plus the rhinos, the park is one you should never miss to visit for a safari trip. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to over 50 mammal species that make their home in park’s unique savannah vegetation, the rare euphorbia forest together with the acacia woodlands which make a prefect habitant for the different mammal species.  The animal species in Lake Nakuru National Park include four of the big five animals, water animals, several land mammals and the a few reptiles mainly the pythons. The mammals include but limited to Rhinos (black and white), Rothschild Giraffes, Buffalos, Baboons, Impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, hyenas, zebras, gazelless leopards, lions, pythons and many more.  Dinner and overnight at the Sentrim Mara Camp

Masai Mara Overview : The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most famous parks. The wildlife viewing is superb throughout the year. The grassy plains and regular rainfall supports a huge population of herbivores, in turn attracting many predators. All three big cats are relatively easy to see. The yearly wildebeest migration coming through the park is one of the world’s most amazing wildlife spectacles.
 

The Wildebeest Migration – The Serengeti-Mara ecosystem is home to the annual wildebeest migration where 2.5 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelles follow the rains in search of new grass. They make their way from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara somewhere around July and August, and usually arrive in September. The crossing of the Mara River along the way is one of the highlights of this spectacular event. They slowly head back into Tanzania around October.

After breakfast, return to Nairobi and continue with your onward arrangement
