Camino Art Gran Canaria happily invites you to spend a week of practicing and learning about Hatha yoga on Gran Canaria! Please choose this retreat only if you want to deepen your yoga knowledge and practice, if you are looking for self-development, and if you are a curious student who wants to learn and learn more! Your level can be beginner or advanced too.
The main goal is to give opportunity to the participants to deepen their interest and knowledge about yoga by practicing and learning. Two daily yoga sessions will be held, one in the morning (after slow morning sessions) and one in the evening (after the daily adventures). Workshops will be held after breakfast.
During this special retreat week, you will discuss your experiences and lessons learned during yoga classes or workshops. The yoga teachers and workshop leaders will participate in the daily programs as well so you will have a chance anytime to learn more and individually get deeper into any of the topics you are interested in.
A few topics of the workshops are how to carry out the main asanas properly, what are their benefits, their energy flow, and their main goal. Alternative healing, chakra system, Ayurveda studies, the meaning of yoga, Eastern tradition, western outfit, meditation types, how meditation works, breathing techniques, and why breathing is essential in Hatha yoga will be covered as well.
You will be going hiking, swimming, and discovering the island together with other participants. You will eat together and develop together although you will find your personal time and place only for yourself too. Each day, there will have two yoga sessions and one workshop, where you will be able to develop yourself and enrich your curiosity with yoga-related topics.
When not on the sessions, you can wander around the island, cook, create and enjoy art, or just remain in silence and focusing on your inner self. The northern part of Gran Canaria is the hidden miracle of the island - far from the mass touristic areas is just the perfect place for this retreat.
