Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and available for all travel arranged through Bergan Travel. Many components of your travel package are non-refundable; purchasing Travel Insurance may protect your investment. Travel Insurance can cover you in case of cancellation due to sudden illness, injury or death within the immediate family. Additional coverage varies based on policy. Please ask your travel agent for additional information about a specific policy. 

Bergan Travel Motor Coach Cancellation Policy:

If you have purchased travel insurance and are cancelling due to a non-covered reason OR if you have chosen to decline travel insurance, the policy is as follows.

Your trip contains components that are fully non-refundable to Bergan Travel at the time of deposit. For this reason, your trip deposit is completely non-refundable. If you cancel any time after the final payment (as stated on the trip flyer), the total amount paid is non-refundable. The only exception is if you can find a replacement.

If you can find a replacement, a credit for the full amount of the trip – less the non-refundable deposit – will remain on file with Bergan Travel for two years from the date of cancellation. This credit can be used towards any future motor coach tours operated by Bergan Travel. Furthermore, if you wish to receive a refund check, in lieu of a tour credit, the amount refunded will be less the non-refundable deposit plus a $100 administrative fee, per person.
