This Lavender trip was great. The pace and activities were right for our group. We had great meals and great wine to match. A little more time in Arles would have been appreciated, and Montpellier didn't have that much to show. Highlights included the French bullfights (where no bulls get hurt!), the Carrieres des Lumieres that puts you inside the artwork projected onto the walls, the medieval cities of Carcassonne and Avignon, and visiting the lavender farm and factory. We recommend this trip. It was well-planned, and well-executed, with something for everyone.

Julia was an excellent guide and we were made to feel like family. All of the details were taken care of so we could thoroughly enjoy and be immersed in the experience. All of the meals and accommodations were local and top notch. Highly recommend this tour company.

The trip was exceptional in its entirety! Stephane, Isabelle, Julia & Mom & friends were really awesome! They took care of us well & made sure that we were always safe & comfortable. I liked the picnic at the château the best; we got to eat Julia’s mom’s, Cathy’s cooking & experienced Provençal hospitality & friendship. Playing pétanque was a great team effort with a bit of competitive edge for some & I totally enjoyed the conviviality that came with it. We also got to see Stephane’s hidden talent: singing, playing guitar & composer to boot!!! Stephane’s & Isabelle’s patience & compassion were top notch; 2 very kind hearted people who always had a smile on their faces😊. I am extremely grateful I got to visit the gorgeous hill towns with opportunities for lavender & sunflower photo ops. And all the awesome food we enjoyed with the group, with the farewell dinner @ Villa Mazarin being the best…I couldn’t wait for the next TripUSAFrance adventure! Thank you, Julia, Stephane & Isabelle for helping us create wonderful memories! Also kisses to Cathy & Eric, I hope I get to see both of you in the near future🌻🍷♥️

This was a fantastic time, even better than we imagined! Julia had everything planned to the minute. She was on top of things so we just enjoyed the wonderful food, the sights and camaraderie. Her slogan of travel like a local is so true. We did not feel like we were tourists. We felt like we belonged because everyone was so helpful and friendly. The picnic prepared by Julia’s mom was delicious and we always had fun with Stephan, Julia’s dad when he drove. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the food, the wine , the culture and the people of Provence!

This tour was extremely well-organized and Stephane and Isabelle were both observant and caring to all of us who were tour participants. The first evening, at that scrumptious tower dinner, they had learned about participants, and t heir walking ability, and put it into practice from then on. Because I had low vision, Isabelle helped me with coin values and bought a few postcards in my place. I loved seeing old familiar sights from my years teaching French, and delightful new ones, such as the Manade and those skilled horses and riders. The picnic was a chance to taste Cathy's hom-cooked food, that she had put her heart into, and we played boules. Each included meal, lunches and dinners was exquisite, and delicious! ' Suculent '. Stephane was a great driver, and problem solver, and company. Learning of the labor slowdown on June 9, he raced to get 3 participants to a train hurriedly scheduled, in order that they got to PARIS CDG Every detail was taken care of, even to receiving a card from the hotel, with the entry code written. Handy if someone gets too far from the hotel, and needs the address. Stephane and Isabelle were so gracious to speak French with me, and I may have abused this a bit. It was difficult to leave Stephane and Cathy. I will recommend this 9 Day South of France Tour to friends and acquaintances.
