Bright and early in the morning after a complimentary breakfast join the rest of the group on a scenic domestic flight to the small town of Puerto Jimenez on the Osa! Once landed in the small town of Puerto Jimenez, you will be welcomed by Martine and Jeison, your rainforest adventure hosts. Together, you’ll be taking a four-wheel transport through the rainforest all the way to your beautiful eco-lodge Ojo Del Mar on Matapalo Beach. 

When you arrive at Ojo Del Mar, there will be a short welcome orientation followed by a delicious lunch, and you'll have the afternoon free to unpack, check out the property, and the pool, and enjoy your new home away from home! Join the group at the yoga platform to wind down with your first opening circle and a beautiful sunset yoga class followed by our yummy welcome dinner under the moon and stars.

Start the day with your first morning yoga session. After your rejuvenating practice, enjoy a full hearty breakfast. Once finished, get into your hiking shoes and you'll take a trek through the neighborhood with your friends Martine and Jeison to discover and photograph all of the indigenous fruits, flowers, and of course local wildlife! 

After lunch, enjoy free time at the beach or lounge around the property and enjoy the pool or ocean. In the late afternoon, those of you who wish to continue exploring can hike in the area to spot more wildlife. The animals are always more active early am or late in the afternoon! 

Just before sunset, meet others on the beautiful yoga platform for practice. Enjoy a restorative and gentle session to realign mind, body, and soul. In the evening, you will sit together for a delicious family-style dinner. After dinner, if you still have enough energy, you’ll take you on a short night hike in and around the property to spot the night action! It’s a whole different perspective from day to night here on the Osa!

Start your day with another fun early am session. After a delicious hearty breakfast, you’ll venture on a fun waterfall hike! Keep in mind that today, you will get fully wet in the hike up the Carbonara River. This hike is for anyone that likes a little adventure mixed with swimming and hiking! Your afternoon is open to lounge around, enjoy the beach and ocean or simply lay around with your journal or a good book.

If you prefer to explore today and discover more of this amazing Peninsula, we invite you to Bosque Del Cabo, a nearby property that is home to an abundant array of wildlife. Because of its location, size, and history, Bosque Del Cabo has become a real haven for many of the local animals. Here it is possible to see more wildlife than anywhere else on the Osa! Not to mention amazing breathtaking views of the ocean and the shoreline from over 300 feet above sea level. 

Hike down to discover tide pools in volcanic rocks at low tide or cross a suspension bridge in the rainforest canopy where we have a surprise for you! You’ll head back to Ojo Del Mar mid-afternoon in time for you to enjoy some rest and relaxation before you meet up again for your next yoga practice followed by another fun group dinner tonight.

After our Morning Practice you can choose to relax by the beach, read a book on the hammock or go for a stroll

Save the best for last! This may be your last day on the Osa, but it’s one of the Anåsa Retreats team's favorites. You will kick off the day with an incredible optional boat trip to visit an animal refuge on the Golfo Dulce. The Golfo Dulce is one of the deepest tropical fjords in the world and is home to three species of dolphins, turtles, and even whale sharks! You’ll see wildlife as you’ve never seen before, and experience the authentic beauty of the Pacific. 

At the refuge, you can interact with monkeys and photograph some of the local wildlife up close. Also, you’ll be supporting a good cause as the refuge is there to release injured wildlife or to give a home to those that cannot be released. Later this afternoon, you'll all meet up to catch your domestic flight back to San José. Once in San José, you’ll head to the hotel and meet for your last dinner together. 

Enjoy a complimentary yummy breakfast at the hotel and say your farewells! With Anåsa Retreats, it’s never goodbye, just "see you later!" Transfer to the International Airport or you can continue enjoying more of San José if you have time before your flight! You'll surely return home fully relaxed.
