Connect with The Five Elements! Swim with humpback whales and other beautiful sea creatures every day. Observe their behavior in a respectful manner, connect with them, learn from them, and be in bliss in their company. Enjoy daily practice of Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Yoga, an ancient practice that developed in Tibet over 8000 years ago. Deeply rooted in Nature and Tibetan Medicine, Lu Jong is a series of gentle movements that nurtures the spine, calms the mind, and releases blockages. It increases mobility in the spine, boosts organ function, increases overall energy and stamina, and calms the mind. Through the combination of position, movement and breath, Lu Jong helps to cultivate balance on the physical, mental and energetic levels. It will truly energize your life.
Lu Jong means "body transformation" in Tibetan. In this gentle practice, we use the body to train and transform the mind. Using movement and breath, Lu Jong balances body systems, balances emotions, deepens the breath, and improves body awareness and vitality. All abilities and body types will enjoy this practice: it will be of great benefit to anyone seeking to deepen their connection to body, mind, and spirit, and find greater balance in their life.
In this retreat you will learn the 21 Movements of Lu Jong in the lineage of Tulku Lobsang as well as details about basic Tibetan medicine concepts and Buddhist philosophy.
