You will visit Masai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Naivasha (Hellsgate and Crescent Island), Amboseli National Park and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary a private conservation Area bordering Tsavo West National Park.

1. Wildebeest Migration (July to October in the Masai mara).

2. Big Five sightings

3. Boat rides (Crescent island).

4. Cycling with animals (Hellsgate).

5. Birding ( Flamingos of Lake Nakuru).

6. Sightings of Mt Kilimanjaro (Amboseli).

4:00 AM: Pickup and depart for Masai mara ( We will have breakfast before departing for Masai mara).

12:00 PM: Arrive at the Masai mara in time for lunch followed by a moment of relaxation.

3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Introductory Game drives in the Masai mara

6:30 PM: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast.

After breakfast we check out and proceed with our journey to Lake Naivasha. We arrive in time for lunch at our lodge situated by the shores of Lake Naivasha. After lunch we board a boat to Crescent island game sanctuary where we get really up close to antelopes, giraffes and zebras as we take a walk in the Island.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Hellsgate NP

After breakfast we drive to nearby Hellsgate National Park for a different type of adventure; Cycling with the wild animals, rock climbing, safari walks. Here bikes are available for hire and you can cycle alongside herds of zebras, giraffes, buffalos, warthogs and other wild animals. Our guide shall follow you behind with the van. We exit and proceed with our drive to Amboseli.

We will have a lunch stop along the way.

We arrive in the evening in Amboseli check in awaiting dinner and overnight.

Wake up for an early morning game drive

Perfect opportunity to watch Mt Kilimanjaro peaks (If weather allows) and massive herds of elephants as they move into the park to graze.

Return for breakfast and relax for the rest of the mid morning.

After lunch proceed with game drive till evening

You also can decide to leave for a full day game drive with packed lunch and return in the evening.

After breakfast drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Afternoon is spent viewing animals from the cmfort of your rooms as they come to drink water in the nearby waterhole

Go for game drive in the sanctuary from 4:00 to 6:00 PM

Optional night game drives are available ( To be organized on sight).

If we arrive in good time we visit Giraffe Centre and later go for a bye bye dinner at Carnivore Restaurant.

We then shall transfer you to the Airport to catch your flight back home.

My trip with Africa Vacation Safaris was incredible. Denis went above and beyond expectations tailoring a safari that fitted in all the places that I wanted to visit, including some that were a bit more unusual and off the beaten track. This included a walking tour of the Kibera settlement in Nairobi. My main guide, Joseph, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver. He was also willing and able to accommodate changes to the itinerary that I requested one day - something that some guides are not prepared to do. I also never felt pushed to visit and buy things from souvenir places which can sometimes happen when you are on a tour. I was travelling alone and when I made an offhand comment that it was a bit lonely eating by myself, he made sure to always be available to eat with me from that point on. I went for more expensive accomodation options and feel that I got good value for money, but Denis would have found cheaper options if I had desired and I am sure they would have been great too. I would recommend Africa Vacation Safaris, Denis and Joseph to anyone travelling to Kenya.

This is my first time working with Denis and Joseph as a mission trip orgainzer myself. I had met them two years ago when I was on a trip someone else had organized, and contracted with Africa Vacation Safaris LTD. I kept the phone number of Denis and am glad I did. Everything has been done professionally, and with ease. Denis stays in communication all hours of the day and night, despite the 10 hour time difference. I was VERY happy with the safari, and, having done the hard work of arranging the first half of the trip for my mission work, I was more than glad to hand all the rest of the responsibilities over to Africa Vacation Safaris. We saw all the big 5, and more. EVERYTHING on our list to see was met. That's not always possible, but I am glad it worked out for us. We not only saw one leopard, we saw TWO! One of the higher end hotels had an opening for three rooms, and he switched us to them. I am Soooo happy he did. It was an excellent place to stay, and we loved it. I plan to return there on off season, and stay two nights, instead of one as part of our itinerary. They had water for us, and accommodated all our requests. Joseph was a great safari guide, with his book to identify animals and birds we asked about. He even found a recording of a bird call we asked about.
