About this trip

Lemosho route this is the one of the beautiful route, more established routes and one of the better planned route carefully designed with shorter elevation gains and longer distances and more time or acclimatization to the attitude to allow trekkers the best chances of reaching the summit. Hikers may have the opportunity to witness wildlife along the trail, which passes through a lovely rain forest. Blue monkeys, small lizards, and a variety of birds are frequently spotted in the woodlands, in addition to black and white colobus monkeys. From there, the trail meanders onto the Shira Plateau and crosses it from west to east on a generally flat and easy-to-walk surface.

The difficulties to climb Kilimanjaro via lemosho route

The Lemosho route is the easiest route, this is due to the fact that it is a longer journey than other routes, covering more ground and gaining more height.
A route profile, also known as an elevation profile, is a side view of geographic information that focuses on elevation. The Lemosho route fluctuates in altitude during the journey, requiring extra effort to complete. Because it adheres to the "hike high, sleep low" philosophy, this up-and-down motion is actually highly helpful for acclimatization. An approach known as "climb high, sleep low" entails sleeping at a lower height than where you spent the day. This is known to encourage the body to manufacture more red blood cells, which carry oxygen.
