Located on the stunning shores of Diani Beach, Ocean Tribe offers a safe and exciting introduction to underwater adventure for children aged 6 and above. The SSI Explorers program is perfect for young ocean lovers who aren’t yet old enough for full scuba certification but are eager to explore the sea and learn new skills.

Our program includes hands-on water time, engaging conservation lessons, and the chance to become a real underwater explorer—snorkeling, scuba diving, freediving, or even swimming like a mermaid!

The program starts with the Blue Oceans Explorer module, teaching kids about marine conservation in an interactive, story-based format. 

From there, they move on to hands-on adventures with mask, fins, and snorkel in our safe, shallow training pool. As they progress, they can choose their favorite activities and earn up to 22 unique SSI Explorer Specialties.
