Join us in the storybook town of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Provence’s famed capital of vintage treasures, charming brocantes, and sun-drenched market days.
With its sprawling landscapes, charming villages and endless lavender fields, we'll be in the heart of quintessential French countryside charm. During the week we'll spend two days perusing Frances' most extensive antique market (after Paris' Les Puces!) where you'll find furniture, artwork, tapestry, silverware, glassware and more.
Wander cobblestone streets lined with centuries-old storefronts, dig through crates of faded postcards and gilded mirrors, and sip chilled rosé as you admire your finds along the Sorgue River. We’ll spend our days exploring flea markets, antique fairs, and curated shops, meeting local dealers, and uncovering pieces with soul and history.
Whether you're a design professional or a passionate collector, this trip offers a full immersion into the timeless charm of French provincial style. Over the course of the week, you'll explore an inspiring mix of vintage furniture, art, and decorative objects—each piece with its own unique story. After two full days of treasure hunting, we’ll venture into the world of local ateliers, where you'll meet artisans in their creative spaces and, in many cases, have the opportunity to purchase directly or place custom orders.
Spend two full days exploring over 250 antique stalls in the heart of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue—one of Europe’s most iconic destinations for vintage treasures. Between market strolls, we’ll step inside the workshops of local artisans, including a master chandelier maker and other truly unique craftspeople who bring Provençal heritage to life. Enjoy browsing and bargaining, discovering the one-of-a-kind pieces that speak to you.
We’ll visit one of France’s most celebrated wineries—renowned not only for its exceptional wines and cuisine, but also for its world-class art and architecture. This extraordinary estate has showcased works and designs by legends such as Frank Gehry, Tadao Ando, Jean Nouvel, Oscar Niemeyer, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, Sean Scully, Louise Bourgeois, Lee Ufan, and many more. It’s a feast for the senses—where fine wine meets fine art in the heart of the French countryside.
We'll time our visit to Aix-en-Provence to coincide with the weekly Cours Mirabeau antique market or the hidden gems along Rue Mignet, where local dealers showcase everything from Louis XVI armoires to rustic farmhouse treasures. We'll have plenty of time to wander through Aix's elegant boulevards and tucked-away alleys to discover charming brocantes, vintage boutiques, and open-air markets overflowing with 18th-century furniture, Provençal linens, ceramics, and curiosities you won’t find anywhere else.
