Expect a weekend centered around cooking, eating and spending time together.
LEV chefs Loren and Daniel create menus in response to the location, season and people gathered around them. At Camp Singers, the surrounding landscape and late-October harvest will guide a weekend of thoughtful, seasonal food.
Raised in Galilee and Jerusalem, Loren and Daniel grew up surrounded by Jewish and Palestinian culinary traditions. Their individual journeys later brought them through kitchens in Italy, Spain, Australia, England, France and the United States. Now based in New York, they bring those experiences together through LEV.
Guests will be invited to cook and hang out with us throughout the weekend. This isn’t a formal culinary course, and no cooking experience is required. Participate as much or as little as you’d like.
Outside the kitchen, the weekend will include a group hike, a movement class and time to swim, soak, sauna, wander the property or rest.

Camp Singers sits on 88 acres in the Catskills, with mountain views, farm pastures, and wooded trails. There is a swimming pond, a wildlife observation pond, and a creek. Three lovely donkeys (Starburst, Snickers and Blossom) also live on camp!
Campers have the option to stay in our 1870's farmhouse or tent camp on site. The house, known as The Lodge, underwent an 18 month restoration to bring it back to all its original glory (and beyond). The Lodge has 6 private guest rooms and 4 shared bathrooms. Common spaces include: large dining area overlooking the woods, fireside kitchen seating, extensive chef's kitchen, game/craft table and gathering room, studio space and recreational activities.
Camp Singers is in Delaware County, NY--2.5 hours from the GW bridge. Some campers drive and others take the bus from NYC (Trailways PABT to Delhi). We can provide transportation from the bus station to camp--we'll pick up bus riders in Delhi when thier bus arrives, just let us know when you are getting in.
Tuition depends on your choice of sleeping arrangements: register for a private room, sharing a room, or camp on-site. No campsites for this retreat as it will be to cold.
