Today your amazing Malaysia and Singapore trip begins! You will fly to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Being the largest city in Malaysia, it is among the fastest-growing metropolitan regions in Southeast Asia, in both population and economic development.
Upon arriving at Kuala Lumpur airport(KUL), a representative will greet you and arrange for your transportation to the hotel, allowing you the first chance to experience Malaysia. After arriving at our hotel enjoy a nice rest at the hotel or you can walk around the neighborhood.
A full-day tour begins! After breakfast, you will pass by the iconic Abdul Samad building, the oldest railway station and National Mosque. Then stop at Dataran Merdeka for a photo opportunity. Afterward, experience National Monument, it is a sculpture that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960. Stop for a photo opportunity at Kings Palace. Then visit the Sri Perdana Gallery, it is an interesting museum giving an insight into the day-to-day life of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and his family during his tenure as the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will head to China Town well known as Petaling Street. Enjoy the great energy of the always bustling street, with scrumptious varieties of local food, with many shops. After visit KLCC Twin Tower, which is the tallest twin towers in the world, they were the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004. We also will visit Batu Caves, it is a limestone hill that has a number of caves and temples, they recently gave Batu caves a colorful makeover by painting 272 steps leading up to the entrance of the Temple Cave with bright colors. The journey ends today at a local restaurant with dinner and you will enjoy a Malaysian Cultural Show.
After breakfast, head to the delightful town of Kuala Selangor. Upon arrival in Kuala Selangor, visit “Sky Mirror”, as the shallow waters of this “Secret Island” reflects the sky in all its going, thus creating many unique photography and selfie opportunities for all. Afterward, visit Bukit Melawati, which overlooks Malacca and has a lighthouse still remaining as well as the Kota Melawati fort. The fort was built in the late 1700s by Sultan Ibrahim of Selangor to protect against Dutch invaders but the Dutch captured it and renamed it, Fort Altingsburg. Enjoy some rest while eating lunch at a local seafood restaurant. Visit the Paddy Gallery Museum to gain insight on how the paddy seed process into rice, with great scenery where you can capture endless paddy fields. After having dinner at a western restaurant, you will head back to the hotel.
Today is a free day on your own leisure. You can do some last minutes’ souvenir shopping or just explore the city to have a last glance. You can also stay at the hotel for a good rest. Tomorrow we will leave Kuala Lumpur to another city Malacca.
Today after breakfast transfer to Malaka. Malaka is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in the southwestern part of Malaysia founded in 1377. Upon arrival visit The Stadthuys, it is a historical structure in the center of Malacca City, it is known as the Red Square due to its red exterior and nearby red clock tower. It was built by the Dutch in the 1650s as an office for the Dutch Governor and Deputy Governor. Later visit St. Paul’s Church, which is the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia, which was built in 1521. Lunch will be served with famous Nyonya cuisine! After some rest, later learn the history of 16th Century Portuguese Fortress, built shortly after the Portuguese conquered Malacca in 1511. Stroll through the historical antique rows of shops, called Jonker Street. Enjoy a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Singapore. Visit Johor Premium Outlet, a mall in Indahpura with 130 designer and name brand outlet stores as of 2022. Then you will cross the border and will be transferred to the hotel in Singapore. Rest of the day is free, you can relax at the hotel and get ready for tomorrow’s tour.
After breakfast, explore the Civic District that is still dotted with neo-colonial European architecture buildings mostly serving as government offices or public buildings. Drive past the huge grass field called Padang that used to be the gathering place for the nation's national parades celebrating its independence, or where the sport of cricket is still being played in front of the once exclusive Cricket Club. Peek at the imposing Parliament House, Supreme Court, and City Hall along the way to arrive at the Merlion Park overlooking the grandeur of the Marina Bay.
Today your amazing Malaysia and Singapore trip ends. Tour guide will transfer you to the airport to board your homeward flight.
