My experience with Grounded Retreat at Cedar Bloom exceeded every expectation I had. The bonds I formed with the women there are truly connections for a lifetime rooted in shared memories of sound baths, yoga, dance, tears, laughter, and deep healing.
It was incredible to witness women (many of whom traveled and camped alone for the first time) immediately supporting one another. From helping set up tents to sharing supplies and stories, there was a sense of community that felt both ancient and necessary. Watching women show up for each other so openly, without judgment, moved me to tears.
This retreat grounded me in ways I’ll never forget. I learned new things about myself, reconnected with Mother Earth, and felt a powerful stillness that I’ll carry with me. I left with lifelong friendships, a deeper sense of self, and a renewed appreciation for breath, presence, and connection.
I highly recommend Grounded Retreats to every woman. If you ever have the chance—take it. Step outside, do yoga under the open sky, and let nature work its magic. It will change your life! #DoYogaOutside
This retreat was truly a life altering experience. To share the joy, grief and growth while being held by the powerful women around me is an experience I will never forget. Alauna truly has a gift and I am anxiously waiting for the release of her next retreat!

Since there isn't an option for 4 1/2 stars, I went with 4 because the venue was a little too remote for me. I would have liked to travel into Silver City but an hour to and from, after driving several hours to get to the house, discouraged me from doing that. The house was roomy and comfortable with lots of space for yoga, and quiet time.
Alauna did a very good job organizing, especially since this was her first attempt at it. She was accommodating and friendly. Overall, this was a very enjoyable retreat.
