One of the best organised trips I’ve been on! Not only were the people amazing but the activities were great (not to mention the food was pretty damn tasty too)! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience. It was incredible to be with a group of vegans exploring the world. Having similar morals and ethics made the trip even better. 110% worth the cost. The team were amazing, so friendly and always organised! Amanda was on top of everything - it all seemed to smooth and seamless. Highly recommend!

My trip with the getaway co has been such an amazing experience, I first decided to join this particular trip as it had the amazing Liz Miu and Zaccary Bird as the hosts. I was really excited to travel with them and learn more about vegan food lifestyle and of course Bali! After speaking with Amanda, the founder who was absolutely lovely and answered all my questions this really made the whole experience so reassuring. The idea of having a single base in Bali which turned out to be an amazing facility with such nice people. Not having to worry about organise anything was so nice and really helped make this more of a holiday rather than work, trying to organise everything myself. The idea of this being a vegan holiday and travelling with other likeminded people also was so exciting as vegan food is so amazing and getting to experience this with the group and in Bali which turns out to be a vegan haven is amazing Travelling as a vegan can be difficult times so the fact, we had some pre organised meals was great as again not having to worry especially while having some amazing day excursions! Also, the location of the villa gave us so many options to try all within walking distance! I travelled on this trip solo, and it was the most amazing experience and have definitely made some lifelong friends!

Fantastic experience with tons of knowledge shared by Amanda and her team. There is a true passion to show all sides of Bali and it shows with their curated experience. I was a little caught off guard by the level of physical activity during some of the excursions and I would suggest hiking shoes and gear for the volcano hike.

I knew it was going to be a memorable trip, I just didn't realize how amazing it would be. The other participants were nice, and we all had something in common: a compassion for animals and a desire for tasty plant-based food. I also appreciate that the tour had a little bit of everything. We had indoor (e.g. wine tasting) and outdoor (e.g. hiking and walking tour) activities, and free time, which allowed us to do other things like visit other nearby places not included in the itinerary (e.g. visit the Swiss capital or coaster-riding another mountain). Furthermore, we had stunning views of the Lake from our hotel. Amanda did an awesome job of curating the best accommodations for us. Overall, I recommend this tour to everyone.
