Visitors during this period will have a unique chance to join us from the ground up and engage in the early brainstorming sessions as we craft a Black-centered retreat space. It's a space dedicated to healing Black life, with the ripple effect of healing the world around us.

We're providing a typical Mwasi Retreat Itinerary below for you to refer to when deciding what excursions you want to participate in, and when each activity will take place if selected. The add-ons/excursions and lunches must be booked prior to your arrival. No reservations will be booked on-site due to Marrakesh's booming tourism industry.  

Here's what we'll need from you leading up to your week:

 *These are add-ons offered a la carte. You will select what you want to participate in during the registration process. All dinners will be served plated family style and served at specific times. The meals will come from a pre-fixed menu from the Black Honey Restaurant. 

ITINERARY OVERVIEW 

Monday:

• Arrival in Marrakesh at Mwasi Healing and Restoration Center

• 2 pm: Lunch at Mwasi*

• Property Tour

• 8 pm: Dinner at Black Honey, Mwasi's on-site restaurant

Tuesday: 

• 9am-10am Breakfast

• 11am - 2pm: Hammam and Massage appointments

• 2pm - 4pm: Pool Bar Menu available at Black Honey* (Not Included)

• 4pm - 7pm : Spa Appointments continued (if necessary)

• 8pm: Dinner at the Black Honey Restaurant

 Wednesday : 

• 9am - 10am: Breakfast

• 10:00am - 1:30pm:  Departure for the apothecary shop

• 10:30am - 1:30pm: Visit the herbalist/apothecary shop to learn about traditional herbal remedies

• 1pm - 2pm : Lunch in the Souk (not included)

• 2pm to 6pm : Guided tour and shopping at Jmaa El Fna, the famous souk of Marrakech

• 6pm Depart back to Mwasi 

• 8pm Dinner at Black Honey

Thursday : 

• 9am breakfast

• 10:00am : Departure to Majorelle Gardens

• 10:30am: Visit Majorelle Gardens*

• 12pm : Return to Mwasi

• 2pm - 4pm: Pool Bar Menu available at Black Honey* (Not Included)

• 8pm: Dinner at Mwasi

Friday: 

• 4:30am: Hot air balloon (Breakfast included)*

• 9am breakfast 

• 3pm : Departure to Agafay for Camel Trekking and ATVs

• 4pm: Camel Trekking and ATVs*

• 7pm Departure from Agafay (or to the desert camp, if selected)

• 7:30pm: Arrival at Agafay desert camp for overnight stay* (if applicable)

• 8pm: Couscous night at Black Honey Restaurant with Gnawa performers

NOTE: ALL CLIENTS WHO PAY FOR THE OVERNIGHT AGAFAY EXPERIENCE WILL GO TO AGAFAY ON FRIDAY, STAY OVERNIGHT, & RETURN TO MWASI FOR BRUNCH. 

Saturday

• 11am: Mwasi Soul Food Brunch (hosted and included)

• 8pm: Dinner at Black Honey

IMPORTANT NOTES

- There's no lunch listed on Wednesday because you will be in the souk. Midway into the tour, you will stop to have lunch in the souk.

-The "Relax Day" on Thursday is intended to be a day where everyone relaxes and lounges around the property. The "Free Day" on Friday is intended for people to explore Marrakech on their own and enjoy the a la carte activities of interest. We listed a few common activities on the next registration page, as well as in the Welcome Packet that you'll receive upon booking.

-Be mindful of the meal times that you are booking. If you intend to book an excursion in Marrakech at the same time lunch is being served at Mwasi, you shouldn't purchase the lunch.
