About this trip

You and the women in your life are invited to A Women's Winter Weekend Yoga Retreat in Western Massachusetts hosted by Carolyn Ruszala at Angels’ Rest Retreat and Conference Center in Leyden, MA.

Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, Saturday, January 13 – Monday, January 15, 2018 is the perfect time to slow down from all the holiday hustle and bustle, reflect on 2017, and set intentions for 2018. This retreat weekend is an invitation to connect with other women, deepen your yoga and mindfulness practices, share delicious meals together, have time to relax, and take care of you.

Throughout the weekend, we will practice gentle, yin, and restorative yoga (suitable for all yogis). We’ll also explore pranayama (breathing exercises), mindfulness practices (mindfulness eating and walking), guided meditations, and journaling exercises. We will spend time together, have the opportunity for quiet alone time, and enjoy Mother Nature. There will be optional activities to create vision boards, set intentions, gain clarity, and calmness for the new year.

We will leave this women’s retreat feeling relaxed, refreshed, and connected to Mother Nature and our yoga community.

Reviews

A weekend with new asanas to try, all the cooking done for you, time to knit and chat, and lots of quality time with the ocean sights, sounds and smells, Carolyn's om-mazing yoga retreat provided all of this and more. Class time was nicely balanced with free time and serenity abounded. Meals and snacks were abundant, healthy and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the partner yoga session and the mindful walk on the beach. If you have a chance to attend one of Carolyn's retreats, go for it!
The trip was truly "Om-azing". It was all that it was advertised as and more. The yoga sessions were tailored to all participants. They tied together all of our experiences and were truly amazing. I can't say enough about the location and the food. The house was beautiful and there is nothing better than overlooking the ocean while enjoying yoga or simply relaxing. All meals were both delicious and a treat to look at. Presentation was beautiful but didn't compare to the taste! The chef catered to all dietary needs of the participants. All in all it was well worth it!
