About this trip

This is one Of New Zealand’s Great Walks. It is in Golden Bay at the North Western tip of the South Island. Golden sandy beaches meet coastal forest and granite cliffs on this Great Walk set in NZ’s smallest but most popular national park. It really is an amazing place to relax and explore, with crystal clear waters to refresh yourself in and stunning beaches to stretch out and relax on – all nestled in amongst native forest. Beautiful.

Proposal

At this stage we are looking for two things:

· Feedback an which of the five options below you would prefer

· Expressions of interests

Accommodation is limited so you will need to make a firm commitment by the end of this year. All prices here are in NZ dollars. Booking: $200 per person deposit required before 15th Jan non-refundable. Balance is due one month before the booked dates. Cancellation Policy: No refund if tour cancelled within seven days of trip departure; 50% of total refundable if cancelled within one month of departure less $100 booking fee.

The ferry from Wellington to Picton is not included in the prices below. You will need to purchase this yourself for approx.  $65 per person. If people want to stay in rooms that sleep 4 to 6 people they can reduce their costs by $50 to $75 for the trip.

All options include the following:

Walk from Marahau to Totaranui or Totaranui to Marahau. The track has two major tidal crossings that have to be crossed at low tides –our itinerary is planned around these crossings, so there is no long wait for the tide to go out.
