Amazing! Our tour guide and driver were the best. Our trip to DC convinced me that we should always tour rather than trying to figure our a trip ourselves. We would have never been able to see as much as we did on our own. Plus, the amount of knowledge they impart on the tour is pricelss. Thank you DC Discoveries!!!

The trip was fantastic! What a great way to experience Washington, D.C.! We were able to see so much in 4 days and share the love of American History with our 8th grade kids. THANK YOU to our tour guides, Julie Wilkes and our bus driver, Tammy. They were fabulous!
A few items to consider/change/plan for the next 8th grade trip:
Early planning (our delay!) so that we could have visited: the White House and Library of Congress.
Early planning (our delay!) so that our students could bring the offertory at Mass at the Basilica.
Early planning (our delay!) so that our students could present the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
Consider finding another restaurant to visit in Old Town, Alexandria. The server was noticeably annoyed with all of the visitors. The manager even remarked that he is "always like this."
