DAM Active Escapes has contractual due dates with our vendors that we must adhere to. Please be mindful of these deadlines and make payments by the agreed-upon dates. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so if you encounter any difficulties making your payments, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are happy to discuss potential options to help keep you on track. 

Please note that there is a transaction fee when processing payments. If you use ACH, the fee is 1% plus $0.30 per transaction. If you pay via Debit or Credit card, depending on your bank, there will be some additional charges; 2.9% for Visa/MC or 3.9% for Amex (USD)  each time you make a payment. 

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documentation for the destination. 

Visa Requirements for Mexico

U.S. citizens traveling to Mexico for tourism purposes do not require a visa for stays of up to 180 days. A valid U.S. passport or passport card is all you need to enter the country.   However, they must present a valid passport and complete the Multiple Immigration Form (FMM) upon entry, which is FREE as the trip is 7 days or less. This form can be obtained online through the National Institute of Migration's website or at the point of entry.

REAL ID vs. Passport

As of May 7, 2025, the REAL ID requirement goes into effect for air travel within the United States. Here's what travelers need to know:

What is a REAL ID?

A REAL ID is a state-issued driver's license or identification card that meets federal security standards. You'll recognize it by the star in the top corner.

When Do You Need a REAL ID?

Starting May 7, 2025, you’ll need a REAL ID (or another TSA-approved form of identification) to:

• Board domestic flights within the U.S.  
• Access certain federal buildings and military bases

What If I Don’t Have a REAL ID?

You can still travel domestically using:

• A U.S. passport 
• A passport card 
• A DHS trusted traveler card (like Global Entry)  
• A military ID, or other TSA-approved IDs 

To travel internationally, you’ll always need a passport—REAL ID is not valid for international travel. 

DAM Active Escapes is not responsible for any consequences, including denied boarding or entry arising from improper or invalid documentation. 

To arrive in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, you’ll want to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Located about 50 to 55 kilometers (31 to 34 miles) from Playa Del Carmen, the airport serves as the main gateway for travelers heading to the beautiful Riviera Maya region. With direct flights from many major cities, Cancun International makes it easy and convenient to reach your destination.

Please note that the resort is approximately 45-60 minutes from the airport, so plan your flights accordingly.

We recommend arriving at the resort between 12 pm-5 pm to ensure you have enough time to check in and prepare for the Welcome Mixer.

Participants who choose the payment plan option are required to select this add-on at checkout. The $75 administrative fee covers payment processing, scheduling, and administrative management associated with maintaining a flexible installment plan.

If you qualify to receive the promotional discount, payment in full is required at the time of booking. If a payment plan is selected, the booking will revert to the standard rate. Please note that discount coupons cannot be combined—only one coupon may be applied per booking.
