Guided walking holiday in some of the most scenic regions in Ireland. Taking in Glendalough, Dingle, Killarney, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, the Burren and Galway.
The itinerary is a mixture of daily walks which will range from easy to moderate to strenuous, road travel, sightseeing, social activities and enjoying Irish hospitality.
July is the best time of year weather wise with low rainfall and temperatures in the 13-18° range. Being summer, there will be about 18 hours of daylight (till about 11pm). However, being Ireland, you will still need to be prepared for rain.
Day 1: Pick up from Dublin and drive into Wicklow - Guided walk in Glendalough.
Spinc Trail - 9 km, 3.5 hours, climb 380 m
Stay Glendalough.
Day 2: Drive to Dingle with a stop along the way in Adare and Annascaul. Guided walk along the coast from Beenbane beach - 8Km, 2hrs, 120m
Stay in Dingle 3 nights.
Day 3: Drive to Mt Brandon trail head- Walk Mt Brandon (Sacred Mountain) 8Km, 4-5 hrs, 750m
Stay Dingle.
Day 4: Walk part of the Dingle way from Vantry to Dunquin / Ballyferriter - 15Km – Ascent 370m – 5hrs - taking on Slea Head.

Day 5: Drive to Killarney, Climb Carrauntoohil (Ireland's highest point) - 12Km - Ascent 850m - 6-7hrs.

Day 6: Boat across the lakes of Killarney to Lord Brandon's Cottage - Walk through the Gap of Dunloe to Kate Kearney's cottage- 15Km, 5hrs, 230m
or walk around Muckross Lake - 15Km, 5hrs, 120m

Day 7: Drive to Liscannor to walk the Cliffs of Moher to the visitor center - 8Km, 2.5krs, 120m
Stay in Doolin.
Day 8: Walk in the Burren - 7.5 km, 3 hours, 140m - Coastal drive to Galway and return to Dublin.
