After an early start and a warm, nourishing breakfast, begin your day traveling to the starting point of the Llactapata Inca Trail. A short, gentle 20-minute walk leads you to a charming coffee plantation, where local experts will share their passion for sustainable cultivation and the deep cultural importance of coffee in Santa Teresa. Continue with a beautiful 2–3 hour ascent toward the Llactapata Pass (2,700 m / 8,900 ft). Along the way, enjoy quiet paths, lush nature, and moments just for you and your partner. At the top, a rare and magical reward awaits: a distant yet enchanting view of Machu Picchu from the southwest, a sight few travelers ever witness.
Lunch is served nearby, with Machu Picchu in view, offering a peaceful and unforgettable dining moment together.
After lunch, begin a gentle 2–3 hour descent through bamboo forests, orchids, and coffee fields, making your way toward the Aobamba River. It's a tranquil walk perfect for slow conversation and shared appreciation of nature.
