On the second day you will explore the greenest island in Croatia and its most famous part-National park Mljet. According to legends, this is the place where Ulysses was captured by Calypso in Greek mythology. True or not, it is the fact that most of the names on the island are Greek origin, and there is even the Ulysses cave.

National park Mljet is known for its lakes inside of the island and a small island on the biggest lake- St. Marija island with a Benedictine monastery on it from the 13th century. Island is great for cycling and you can choose your route for cycling today. You will visit little islet on the boat, and go to lunch to local family depending on their availability.

Today you will explore Korčula. Korčula is the same name for the island and the town. Island has been inhabited in prehistoric times, in Greek time and continuously to modern time. 

Old town Korčula is one of the finest examples of Gothic-Renaissance architecture- Venetian style on the Adriatic and its is on UNESCO waiting list! Island is known for great white wines, made by authentic sort of the grapes -Pošip- which became a synonym for the whole island. Today we can cycle through most famous wine region in Korčula trough villages Smokvica and Čara and choose the long route across the island or short one along the coast around town Korčula.

There is an option to go to Lumbarda to the biggest sandy beach on the island as well is you would like to have some leisure time!

Today you will go back on the mainland or to be more precise again onPelješac peninsula. In Croatia, Pelješac is a synonym for red wines, or as the local call it- black wine. Today we will cycle through most famous wine region in Croatia- Dingač, known for its steep slopes where vineyards are growing. It would be a shame to not taste some of that famous wine and that's why we will stop at one of local family owned wineries for wine tasting.

Our cycling will finish in charming village Žuljana from where we will go to Ston.

Ston is a small town with the longest fortified system in Europe, and some people say second longest in the world. Ston origins are since to Roman times when Romans started to grow oysters in a local bay and collect salt. These 2 traditions, together with the walls are trademarks of Ston. 

If preferred Lunch can take a place on a unique location in Ston bay where you would have fresh oysters and mussels for lunch.

After Ston you will go to Hvar Island. 

Today we will cycle on Hvar, statistically the sunniest place in Croatia. Our route will take us through local villages and ancient Greek fields made in 284 B.C. protected by UNESCO. We will cycle next to lavender fields and across hills with beautiful sea views. Explore town Hvar (same name as the island) on your own after a bike ride and enjoy the crystal clear Adriatic sea. We recommend to visit fortress at the top of Hvar town and see for yourself why people are raving about views from above.

After the bike ride you will go to fortress Fortice above Hvar town from where you can take the best photos of the area.

Our lunch or dinner today will be at local home prepared by professional chef who will give you a little cooking lesson about his philosophy of food!

Today you will leave Hvar and go to Split.

Since 1979 it is on a UNESCO heritage list as one of 12 UNESCO locations in Croatia. The picturesque center is perfect for sightseeing and long walks among its numerous streets and historical monuments, beautiful architecture from Roman to modern times. Nowadays, along with Dubrovnik, Split has become famous for being one of the locations HBO picked for filming its popular series Game of Thrones. We will explore Split on a guided tour.

In Split you will have a guided city tour of a Diocletians palace to learn about local history. We suggest to visit the substructures of the palace that are preserved as in original since to 4th century!

Have a relaxing day on your own exploring around before you meet for a diner in one of the local restaurants!

During this day we will visit yet one more of Croatia’s highlights – the National park Krka, named after the river Krka. Apart from the beautiful scenery you will also see and learn how people used to live in the old days along the banks of Krka by visiting the ethno-village. We will also visit a place which used to host the oldest power plant in Europe. The Park is also well known for its multiple endemic species of birds and amphibians. 

Since the National park actually follows the river in its flow, we will see couple sections on the park while hiking and walking. You will see Skradinski Buk- the biggest waterfall in the park and little islet Visovac in the middle of the river with the Franciscan monastery on it.

After Krka National park you will go to visit Zadar, the biggest town on North Adriatc and its Old Peninsula.

Overnight will be in the small fisheman village called Novigrad!

During this day we will experience the excitement of paddling on the river Zrmanja and the beauty of Velebit’s karst landscape. Depending upon the water level, today’s activity will be either rafting or kayaking. Even though the beauty of Zrmanja is well known, not too many people are acquainted with the interesting fact that a couple of decades ago the area around the river functioned as the set for the filming of the German movie Winnetou, based upon the famous character by Karl May.

Zrmanja is considered as one of the most attractive rivers in Croatia, thanks to the rugged scenery in a Canyon through which Zrmanja runs in its second half.. 

After Zrmanja river you will go to Plitvice lakes for an overnight!

 Hiking in the most famous Croatian National park – Plitvice Lakes. The lakes of Plitvice are a unique design of nature famous across the globe for its beauty. Since 1979 the Park has been a part of the UNESCO World Heritage register.

Plitvice is home to about one-third of all known orchids in Croatia. Plitvice lakes as nature unique place are part of a river that forms beautiful waterfalls, and 16 lakes. We will choose a combination of many walking paths in the park to show you the most attractive views.

After Plitvice lakes, we will go to capitol of Croatia Zagreb. Your hotel is in the city center on the main square.
