About this trip

Cape Town Tandem Skydiving

Cape Town looks spectacular from the ground. Now imagine it from 12,000 feet.

Take adventure to another level with a tandem skydive over Cape Town. Your experience begins with a short safety briefing before boarding the aircraft for a spectacular climb above the West Coast, with views stretching towards Table Mountain, Cape Town and Robben Island.

Then the aircraft door opens.

Harnessed securely to an experienced tandem instructor, you'll leave the aircraft and experience the extraordinary rush of freefall at around 200 km/h. Depending on your chosen jump altitude, you'll spend approximately 35–45 seconds in freefall before the parachute opens at around 5,000 feet.

And then everything changes.

The adrenaline of freefall gives way to an incredible five-minute parachute flight, giving you time to take in the coastline and landscape below before returning gently to earth.

No previous skydiving experience is required. This experience is designed for first-time jumpers, with the briefing, tandem instructor and specialist equipment all taken care of.
