On our AfroPanama trip, we learn of the various histories, and contemporaries of Afrodescendants that built and live on the isthmus. Our trip starts in Panama City and takes us to the Pacific pearl island of Taboga and then on to the Caribbean coast of Colón Province and Portobello, where the Black Christ lives. Join us especially during the month of August where there is national commemeration around the Canal that Afrodescendants gave their all to create.
Please note:
Participants that sign up but cannot make the trip are allowed to transfer to another scheduled group trip, minus their deposit, to the same destination and must assist in finding someone to take their spot with four months notice. They must pay the deposit for the next trip.
Drop-outs of less than four month can transfer their trip, minus half of their trip fee, they must pay this again for the next trip, and must assist in finding someone to take their spot.
We understand things come up and we would like participants to understand that we have a commitment to also fulfill and trip drop-outs make this harder.
