It’s daybreak in the Motherland.

 We will visit Kwame Nkrumah Museum to learn about the emancipation of Africa and the great man’s involvement. Afterwards, we will visit the museum and resting place of the great Pan African writer and civil rights leader W.E.B Dubois.

 After our visit, we will stop for a traditional lunch before going shopping in Accra’s biggest  art market.

 You can also meet our personal, Aloha Glamour seamstress, to take measurements for a tailored African outfit. Dressed to impress, for tonight  we will experience Accra’s night life together.

The Kakum National Park is  made up of mostly  undisturbed virgin rainforest and is one of the infamous national parks in Ghana.

The Kakum National Park is situated about 33km north of Cape Coast, Central Regional Capital and about 170km from Accra.

 It covers an area of 353km2 (including Assin Attandanso Resource Reserve)  The vegetation type is Moist evergreen rainforest with real hardwood trees up to 65km in height.  

Definitely wear your walking shoes!

Stay over at Cape Coast.

Assin Manso is located 40km from Kumasi and it’s along Kumansi- Cape Coast highway.
Assin MANSO was the final link in one slavery route from northern Ghana and was known to have the largest slave market for the merchant supplying slaves on the forts and castles (dungeons) on the coast.

Back to Accra

Bring your walking shoes, Shai Hills is a resource reserve, is a good place to go if you want to see some of nature but don’t really want to hike.
There are a lot of monkeys right when you enter and there is a driven tour, let’s go explore.

After we will take a lovely boat ride at Royal Senchi, The largest man made lake in Africa which is popularly known as Lake Volta.

Come let’s go to the city during and protected by mountains and graced with two gratitude waterfalls known as the upper falls and lower falls. Further up we will find ourselves at umbrella rock which will leave you boggled by  how it balances its weight in  spite of The gravitational pull.

his collection of essays The  Souls of Black People (1903) is a landmark of African American literature.

We will  visit his  last home and conceal resting place in Accra.

Labadi Beach or more properly known as La Pleasure Beach is the busiest beach on Ghana’s Coast.
