Arugam Bay is situated in the east coast of Sri Lanka. It's still a hidden gem. A Bay hidden in one of Sri Lankas oldest nature reserves. It attracts surfers, laid back travellers and yogis from all walks of life.
Hideaway resort is one of the oldest establishments in Arugam Bay and is run by a local family who have converted their family home into a beautiful oasis. Rooms are beautifully decorated, the open yoga shala overlooks the pool and the food is partly grown on the premisis and created for the refined palet.
Hideaway is the perfect blend between laid back beach vibes with just the right amount of luxury and comfort.
Airo Yoga is a fesh and playful spin on aerial yoga. It incorporates elements from Vinyasa Yoga, pilates and acro-paly. The Airo Yoga teacher trainings run on a seasonal basis at Hideaway resort.
The 50 hour teacher training is a 7 day intensive aerial yoga training that qualifies students to efficiently and safely teach Airo Yoga. It is also ideal for those practicitioners wishing to deepen their understanding of yoga.
The course is accredited by Yoga Alliance (YACEP).
Accommodation is available at the resort. The package includes a daily breakfast and freshly roasted coffee. The training includes a printed manual as well as the custom designed Airo Yoga swing.

Guests can check in around 2pm.
Use the day to get comfortable, check out the town, hang by the beach or laze at Hideaway Blue (the coffee shop on the premises), read by the pool and take the day to arrive. The official training will begin the following day.

There is a public Yoga class at 4:30 pm and a Yin Yoga session at 6 pm. These can be attended at an extra cost for those who wish to stretch things out after a long journey.
