Very well run shop. Instructor Denni did a great job leading the dives. Excellent boat captains. My only negative was an inexperienced diver allowed on a couple of advanced dives made those dives shorter than they would have been otherwise. I would still highly recommend diving with pocna dive center
Good dive center---great communication, decent value, good guide/crew, and rental equipment was in good condition. Weather didn't allow for going to some of the farther sites like the wrecks, so we were limited to a couple of shallower sites, which were fine.
Divemaster Lalo was great. We had a group with mixed experience and he did a good job keeping us together and on the dive. I don't remember if it was Lalo or the boat crew that changed our equipment between dives but they did it competently.
I would dive with this dive shop again.
I had 2 great dives, the first was the sculpture garden, and the second one was a very nice reef dive. Tito, our guide was fun and very professional, he gave great pre dive instructions and lead us well through our dives.
And a shout out to El Capitan for helping out my G/F who ended up getting a little sea sick surprisingly on a relatively calm day.
I can't forget to mention the wonderful staff in the shop for helping us rearrange our trip and getting us started.
I had an amazing diving experience as a brand new diver (no experience) with Tito at Pocna Dive Center in Isla Mujeres! From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. Tito was an exceptional instructor and guide, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before heading into the water.
The dive itself was unforgettable—the vibrant marine life and stunning underwater scenery made it a true adventure. Tito's knowledge of the area and passion for diving really added to the experience, and he pointed out so many cool things I would have missed otherwise.
Whether you're an experienced diver or a beginner, I highly recommend Pocna Dive Center and Tito for an incredible diving experience in Isla Mujeres. I can't wait to come back for another dive!
