About this trip

Thirteen days from Old Delhi to the ghats of Varanasi and the Himalayan foothills at Rishikesh — by rail and private car, at a pace built for a small group with Akhila Yoga and Soul Bliss Journeys.

Begin with three unhurried nights in Delhi: a garland welcome at the airport, the lanes and spice markets of Old Delhi, a blessing at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, and sunrise at the Taj Mahal.

The Vande Bharat Express carries you east to Varanasi, the oldest living city on earth, for the Ganga Aarti, a sunrise boat on the Ganges, a private classical concert and a private yoga morning.

An overnight train brings you into the foothills for five nights in Rishikesh: a priest's blessing on arrival, yoga with Mittra Rawat and at Anand Prakash Ashram, an Ayurvedic wellness day, Vashistha Cave, a kirtan evening, a 4 AM sunrise at Kunjapuri Temple and a closing circle together.

Heritage and boutique stays, private experiences, and generous unstructured time throughout. Breakfast daily, with lunch and dinner every day in Delhi and Varanasi and most dinners in Rishikesh.
