Akumal is a small town with beautiful white sand beaches, clear water, and a laid back vibe. Our villa is beachfront with a pool and provides close-by opportunities to swim/snorkel in the Yal-Ku Lagoon and walk along the beaches of Half Moon Bay. We will be venturing out to nearby locations to experience the culture and arts of the local community. Creative experiences and art making will be woven throughout the week - all projects will be connected to our excursions and environment. The sisterhood of connection will be strong as we enjoy sharing space and dynamic experiences together.

Our home base is an ocean-front villa with gorgeous views. Imagine dunking in the pool while listening to the waves, eating local meals in the open-air, engaging in art and mindfulness practices in the expansive house, gathering on the roof-top at night to gaze at the stars. All of this mixed in with guided adventures and time to explore!

Pristine and Private Location - Our secluded location in Akumal, Mexico is the perfect location to relax and slow down. Enjoy floating in the waters of the Yal Ku Lagoon, walking on the beach or just lounging poolside.
Beautiful Weather - April is considered one of the best times to visit the Yucatan because of its consistent 80 degree sunny weather. Of course, our villa has air conditioning and you can always cool off in the pool or the ocean.

Arrive any time after 4pm to our villa and settle in. Enjoy a dip in the pool, a swim in the ocean, or just relax. Our private chef will prepare a delicious meal to welcome everyone.
Arrive to Cancun Airport between 12pm and 3pm on Day 1 to be picked up by our private transportation. If you need to arrive earlier or later, contact us directly to set up your transfer [at your own cost].
We start our days with an optional mindfulness activity [gentle yoga/stretching, beach walk, and/or meditation], followed by a delicious chef prepared breakfast.
We gather together on our first full day connecting through a shared creative experience. We will set intentions for our time together and enjoy each other's company. Enjoy the ease with which you can engage in each creative experience -- no specific artistic skills necessary!
After lunch we will head out to the Mayan jungle and immerse ourselves in an award-winning, living museum woven into the surroundings.. A living museum of art and architecture where every path connects you to co-creativity and Nature’s inspiration. Here you will experience breathtaking biomorphic architecture, where every curve, pathway, and shadow is shaped in dialogue with nature. Here, art is not placed on walls; it grows, breathes, and interacts with the environment.
Back at our villa, you will have free time to enjoy a beach walk, nap, just rest by the pool or explore Akumal - your choice entirely! In the evening we will enjoy a meal prepared by our private chef.
The evening concludes with connection through a shared experience.
We start the day with an easy mindfulness experience to connect to ourselves and others.
After a spacious breakfast we will spend the remainder of the morning exploring weaving variations with a local artist. We dive right into learning how techniques and creating. You will be amazed how quickly you learn the skills to start weaving your own work of art. No skill necessary.
After lunch at our villa, we will head out to experience the healing waters of local cenotes. Depending on the group's wishes we will explore 2-3 different cenotes where we can float, snorkel and learn more about these very special geologic spots. We will finish up our afternoon with a swim in Akumal bay with the sea turtles.
Dinner will be at our villa. Evening activities may include tarot card readings, sketching, journaling or simply connecting with others in our beautiful space.
We start the day with a mindfulness experience, followed by a continuation of the clay experience we started our first full day together. We will continue to get our hands dirty, open our hearts and create.
Lunch is on your own in Tulum so you can explore the myriad of local arts/crafts and clothing options along the beach road. This area is spectacular and known for the unique arts and crafts available.
After a dip in the ocean to cool off, we will learn the history of tacos and be treated to a tour of the best tacos in the area. During our taco tour we will also explore the local art scene which highlights large scale local murals that were a part of securing the coveted distinction of being a Pueblos Magicos [A destination recognized by the Mexican government for preserving exceptional cultural, historical, and natural heritage].
With full bellies we will head back to our villa for some spacious down time.
The morning starts with a mindfulness experience followed by breakfast at our villa. After breakfast we will begin to integrate our creative experiences during our time together. This culmination is not the end, but the beginning of your creative journey and it will be woven throughout the whole day.
After the morning of creating, we will head to the Akumal market to explore what foods are in season, pick up local gifts and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. We will also take a tour of a local art center.
Last but not least, we will make our way to swim with the sea turtles that call Akumal bay their home. This is a magical and immersive experience that is often the highlight of time spent in Akumal. These gentle creatures are so
