The Lodge

Imagine stepping off the grid into a world where your direct connection with nature is fully immersive. That’s the experience that awaits you at Alaskan Remote Adventures Lodge. The lodge is situated on 80 acres of private land overlooking the Mulchatna River. The lodge features four double-occupancy rooms, each with a full private bathroom. Whether your group is joining other guests at the lodge or booking it exclusively, the experience can be customized to your personal needs. It’s not just a place, it’s an experience!

Arrival

Guests fly from Anchorage into Iliamna on a charter flight arranged by us which you pay for at the time of travel. We take care of everything from there. Upon arrival in Iliamna, you’ll be met by staff members at the airport and take a short shuttle ride to the floatplane loading area. After a 40 minute float plane flight, you’ll land on the Mulchatna River at the doorstep of the lodge where you will be greeted by Lodge Manager Ryan Kocherhans and our friendly lodge staff.

Chef Prepared Meals

Lodge Manager Ryan Kocherhans is not only a passionate angler, but a skilled chef. You’ll enjoy delicious meals featuring dishes like prime rib, crab, fresh salmon, and ribs — all paired with stunning views of Alaska’s pristine landscapes from the comfort of the dining room. We also accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice, ensuring everyone can enjoy a satisfying meal, even in our remote location.

When we are not out on the river fishing, our guests enjoy relaxing in the serene and peaceful setting of the property. The deck overlooking the river, along with the courtyard and fire pit, are perfect spots to relax and connect with fellow guests and staff while enjoying the stunning surroundings. Guests also enjoy spending time by the water in front of the lodge — fishing, swimming, or just hanging out by the river.
