I just came back from probably the best holiday of my life! It was my first solo trip, and I was a little apprehensive. Verah helped me choose the perfect itinerary before I went and organised the whole trip. While I was there, she stayed in constant contact to make sure everything was running smoothly, and if I had any questions, she was always readily available. She also provided me with really useful information about Tanzania, what to pack, and shared helpful links before I travelled. The guides were excellent too! Humphrey was tireless when helping me buy supplies for the orphanage. He answered all my questions, taught me some Swahili, and took me to Tarangire National Park, patiently explaining the differences between conservation areas and national parks, Maasai culture, and the local fauna and flora. Later, I joined a lovely couple from America, and together with our new guide, Arnold, we explored the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Arnold is a true expert in all things safari — he knows the best spots and understands wildlife habits so well. I had low expectations about what animals I might see, but thanks to Arnold, we saw four out of the Big Five (we missed only the leopard) and had lots of other amazing surprises like cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and more! After the safari, it was time for Zanzibar. I thought it couldn't get any better — but I was wrong! I had the most incredible time: snorkelling, feeding turtles, seeing vibrant starfish, and meeting fascinating people. Overall, this holiday far surpassed my expectations. The accommodation was excellent, the service was unmatched, and the guides were extremely professional. As a solo female traveller, feeling safe was very important to me — and I felt 100% safe at all times. I highly recommend Lifetime Safaris
