Hi, I’m Hannah, an aerial yoga teacher who loves helping students explore their strength, skill, and freedom in the air. My own journey began as a student in 2019, and after becoming certified, I started teaching at Flight Room in Jan 2022—falling in love with guiding others through movement that challenges, restores, and inspires.With a deep understanding of how the body moves and recovers, I combine advanced aerial training with intentional restoration so students can safely push their limits while exploring new possibilities in yoga. I’m passionate about helping new and experienced movers grow, play, and leave feeling stronger, freer, and fully empowered.

Hi, I’m Ria. After years of being encouraged to try yoga for stress and anxiety—with little enthusiasm on my part—everything changed when I attended my first aerial yoga class at Flight Room in May 2022. I immediately connected with the hammock and the sense of support it provided, allowing me to deepen my grounding and safely explore movements I’d never attempted before.As my practice evolved, my appreciation for curiosity about aerial yoga naturally expanded, leading me to complete aerial yoga teacher training in October 2023. Inspired by the transformation I experienced, my classes emphasize “choose-your-own restorative adventures,” offering thoughtful modifications and options so everyone feels supported, empowered, and in control of their own journey.Expect classes that are chill but still dynamic, with plenty of stretching, gentle transitions, and an emphasis on easing in rather than pushing through—creating space to listen to the body and unwind without feeling static.

How do I get to Portugal and the resort?We'll fly into the Faro International Airport (FAO) in Faro, Portugal on September 19, where we'll meet and shuttle together to the resort.Depending on when you purchase your ticket, the Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) in Lisbon, Portugal can be a more affordable flight option. We will not be coordinating a shuttle from this airport, but we can help coordinate a bus or taxi (cost not covered by Flight Room).PLEASE NOTE: The shuttle pick up time has not been determined yet. While Flight Room does not book the flights on your behalf, we do still coordinate the travel. Please check in with us before purchasing flights so that we can ensure smooth travel.Can I attend with a friend or partner? Absolutely! When you register, simply indicate who you want to room with during checkout. If you're hoping to share the same bed with a partner we can have a king bed arranged instead of 2 twin beds.I’m new to aerial yoga—will I be okay? Absolutely! While this retreat is designed with more advanced students in mind, we welcome anyone who’s curious and motivated to try aerial yoga. Some classes will be more challenging on the body, but I’ll provide modifications and step-by-step guidance so you can move safely at your own level. You’ll also benefit from focused restore sessions to support strength and recovery, so whether you’re new or experienced, you’ll leave feeling strong, confident, and inspired.What if I don’t know anyone else attending? You won’t be alone! Most retreat participants come solo, and many leave with new lifelong friends. We’ll thoughtfully pair you with another guest who’s also traveling alone.What’s the cancellation policy?<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">More than 180 days before retreat: Refundable minus $500 deposit</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Up to 90 days before retreat: 50% refundable</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Less than 90 days before retreat: Non-refundable</li></ul>We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.Flight Room will not be refunding/discounting for being late, leaving early, flight cancellation, travel delays, personal illness, family illness/problems, natural disaster events, epidemics, COVID pandemic or political unrest. If you cancel your attendance to a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy will apply.If there is a force majeure event, or any other event, which in the opinion of the retreat organizers may make holding the retreat unsafe or inappropriate, we may cancel or postpone the event. In this situation, we will stay in close contact with you, and offer 2 options: 1) Transfer your payment in full to any other Flight Room Retreat, including future programs not yet scheduled. There are no expiration dates for this credit, and you can choose option 2 at any time; or 2) If we postpone the retreat and you wish to cancel your registration, you will receive a refund minus $100. Each participant will have dedicated time to capture individual photos, plus a group photo at the end.
