Sample Accommodations

When you choose your accommodation in Costa Rica, we can suggest a variety of places to stay that range from luxury properties to family-run guesthouses and hotels in restored historic buildings. They all come recommended by our specialists from their own experience of staying there.

San Jose - Hotel Presidente - Cocept Room

A clean and comfortable hotel excellently located in the center of the city close to a selection of museums, shops and restaurants. Only 10 miles away from the airport it's a good option for a one night stay, or as a base for exploring the city.

The hotel has a 24-hour gym, spa, lounge and bar, Wi-Fi, and electronic safes in all the rooms.

San Jose Upgrade Option - Gran Hotel Costa Rica Curio - Jr Suite  (+$65 Per Person)

The Gran Hotel is located in the capital city of San Jose, Costa Rica. San Jose is the largest city in the country and considered one of the most cosmopolitan places in Latin America. It's location in the Central Valley makes for a perfect hub to venture out and visit the rest of stunning countryside, beaches and mountains. Here you'll discover an abundance of great restaurants, bars, galleries, open markets, shopping and much more.

Puerto Viejo - Le Caméléon Boutique Hotel - Ocean Suite Beachfront

Le Caméléon Boutique Hotel is located in Puerto Viejo, Limon, on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. With its laid back attitude and Caribbean lifestyle, Puerto Viejo has it all: long walks on the pristine beaches, exotic flora and fauna in a wildlife refuge, snorkeling or diving among the many reefs in crystal clear waters, world-class surfing, mountain biking, kayaking and cultural visits to indigenous communities. Pura Vida San Jose

Arrival to Costa Rica, Juan Santamaria Airport.

Transfer from the Airport to  hotel in San Jose.

San Jose By Night Wines and Gourmet Dinner

Get up close and personal with the nightlife in San Jose, starting with the Central Market, which, in our opinion, is the only way to learn about the city’s food. Stroll the market with your guide and get to know the secrets and uses of the roots, herbs, and fruit common in local cuisines, including ingredients that will play a role in your authentic dinner later.

After the market, you’ll make your way down Central Avenue, from there, your appreciation for San Jose’s historical architecture continues, with a walk through Morazan Park to enjoy the Metallic Building, the Spain Park for a fantastic view of the Yellow House. You’ll continue to charming Barrio Amon, one the oldest neighborhoods in San Jose.

You’ll be spending the rest of the evening at a favorite local restaurant that specializes in wine and gourmet food. This cozy establishment offers the best in Costa Rican cuisine, a unique space that offers art, culture and history as well as fine dining. Between your tasty three course meal, and wines that go down a treat, you’ll be ending the evening in fine fashion, feeling every bit the San Jose local.
