We’re heading to the Mentawai Islands for an unforgettable surf retreat designed for surfers who want consistent waves, real progression, and full immersion in one of the most iconic surf regions on the planet.

Picture this warm tropical water, palm lined islands, and over 20 world class surf breaks within easy boat access. Every day is shaped by the swell, with a variety of reef breaks offering powerful, playful and high performance waves depending on conditions. Right out front, a fun wave just a short walk from your doorstep sets the tone for easy sessions in between boat missions.

You’ll be guided by experienced local surf knowledge with daily boat trips dialled around tides, wind and swell to make the most of every session. This is a place to surf often, surf well, and explore some of the best waves in the world with the right support around you.

Our base is a small, laid back island setup surrounded by ocean and jungle, designed for simple comfort and full focus on surf and recovery. Between sessions you’ll slow down into island rhythm, eat well, rest deeply, and spend your time between the water and the sunset.

All logistics are taken care of, from arriving in Siberut to daily surf planning, so you can switch off and focus on surfing, connecting, and living the island life.

SURFING EXPERIENCE:
We’ll surf the Mentawais with waves ranging from 3–5ft, depending on the swell and conditions nature provides. Smaller and bigger days are possible, and we’ll adjust our surf locations and schedule to make the most of whatever the ocean delivers.

This is not a beginner or early intermediate retreat – you should be comfortable catching your own waves and have some experience surfing in 3ft conditions. No duck diving experience is necessary, but you should feel confident in the water and able to paddle into unbroken waves. Surf etiquette is mandatory.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
You’ll need to fly in and out via Padang Airport (Minangkabau International Airport). Due to the ferry schedule, we recommend arriving in Padang at least one day before your transfer to Siberut, with an overnight stay required.

From Padang, you’ll make your way to Siberut Island, where we will pick you up and begin your journey to the retreat. From Siberut, all boat transfers to and from the island are fully included and organised for you.

We’re happy to help you arrange arrival and departure logistics, but once you reach Siberut everything is taken care of. From there you’ll be transferred by boat to our remote island home in the Mentawai Islands.
