  • Transfer to hotel and group orientation

  • Evening: Aloha Welcome Dinner & Kick-Off Ceremony with Hawaiian music and hula

Day 2, Thursday, June 10

Cultural Immersion

  • Morning workshops: hula, chant, ukulele, drumming, Hawaiian language

  • Afternoon: Exchange rehearsals — ensembles combine for shared repertoire

  • Work to get local groups to participate

  • Evening: Luau dinner with Polynesian cultural show

Day 3, Friday, June 11

Ensemble Showcase Performances

  • Morning: Rehearsals.  Enjoy some leisure beach time, etc.

  • Afternoon: Individual Ensemble Showcases (bands, choirs, orchestras, jazz) at a local venue (perhaps Ala Moana Center Stage, etc.) and time for souvenir shopping.

  • This evening attend the Pan Pacific Hoolaulea, a Celebration of cultures showcase artisans, food and products from around the world!

Mālama Pono Service Day

"Mālama Pono Project" in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans - a global environmental organization and network where creators, thinkers and leaders come together to raise awareness for the beauty and fragility of the oceans and collaborate on projects that can end their destruction. Together we take action to protect the oceans, Earth’s largest and most vital ecosystem, with an approach led by creativity, collaboration and eco-innovation.  The only way forward is together — and there is no greater unifier than the life force that connects us all: the oceans.

  • Afternoon: Free time or optional excursions (cultural site visits, snorkeling, surfing lesson)

  • Evening: Director reception & student cultural game night

Day 5, Sunday, June 13

Performance & Parade Day

  • Pearl Harbor “Remember the Heroes” Concert Performances available

  • Optional activity signups for hiking or South Shore / East Oahu Tours.

  • Participate in the 43rd Annual Pan Pacific Cultural Parade

Day 6, Monday, June 14

Shared Harmony Mass Concert

  • Morning: Combined ensemble rehearsals for the grand finale

  • Afternoon: Relaxation and preparation

  • Evening: Shared Harmony Mass Performance at a landmark venue (e.g., Waikīkī Shell or Kapiolani Bandstand). Farewell local style catered picnic beach dinner as we enjoy our final Hawaiian sunset!

Farewell & Departure

  • Morning: Closing ceremony, reflections, and farewell circle

  • Afternoon: Depart for home, carrying aloha and lasting memories
