My experiences and tours in Peru were absolutely outstanding. The director, Juan Franco, communicated before the trip and we were able to design a trip just for me. His prices were excellent and tour guides for Lima, the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain were all terrific. All the choke points of contact at airports and hotels were flawless. Often travel in a new country does not go according to plan. This is where Juan Franco shined. The train to Machu Picchu was on strike for 2 days. Juan wrestled with ticket changes and good alternate plans. Not everyone has this experience. An American couple, also stranded in Ollantaytambo for 2 days did not. Their phone calls and emails remained unanswered. That is not what Juan Franco did. He was a champion who expended full energy to solve the problem. If you are planning a trip to Peru, I would highly recommend Cultura Viva Travel Agency.
