Trans Cascadia Excursions was founded by Nick and Jessi Gibson. Nick is one of the founders of Trans-Cascadia Backcountry Mountain Bike Racing and has been a bike industry professional since 2005 representing Shimano, PEARL iZUMi, PRO, Lazer, Schwalbe, Dynaplug and Osprey via the MODUS SPORTS GROUP, a prominent PNW sales agency with HQ’s located in Bend, OR. Jessi is a songstress, a mama, an artist and a mountain biker who loves adventures. She operates the Log Scale Shack Cafe that is located at Trans Cascadia Excursions HQ in Westfir, Oregon. We are a small family-owned and run business. You will find either of us guiding one of your trips, pouring you an espresso or a cold beer, shuttling you up the mountain, or on the phone giving you intel about what to expect on one of our excursions.

We’ve curated a list of trails and experiences that we can mould to you and your group. Choose from single day and Multi-Day Trips, from front country shuttles to backcountry adventure, we’ve got a ride for you.

We specialize in guided mountain bike trips and shuttles within Oregon and Washington on some of the most remote singletrack found in the United States. We operate within the Willamette National Forest, including the Old Cascades Crest in the North Willamette, McKenzie River Area in the Central Willamette, and the entire Oakridge network of trails in the South of the Willamette National Forest. We also offer trips in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest around Mt. St Helens and Mt. Adams and the endless opportunities this forest provides. New for 2021, we will be adding trips in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, near Lake Chelan and the Sawtooth Backcountry.

We’re all about creating new experiences and providing a format that allows you to just ride your bike and relax. We want to show you something new, even if you’re from the PNW, we’ve got a ride that is sure to blow your mind. We’ve been exploring the PNW for over a decade, looking for the most unique places to take your mountain bike and we want to share these rides with you.
