Located 30 miles north of Belize City, Altun Ha is one of the Mayas’ most important ceremonial and trading cities during the height of the Maya Civilization.  Visitors have the opportunity to walk within two plazas and climb up the tallest temple in Plaza B call the temple of the sun god. Inside one of the tombs at this temple was found the largest carved jade artifact in the world of the Maya.  Belize’s most prized possession, the jade head is dedicated to the Sun God Kinich Ah.

In the event that you need to cancel your confirmed tour, your refund may be affected by one of the following measures:

1. Cancellation made at least 45 days before departure date: a full refund will be made, minus a 10% administrative charge.
2. Cancellation made between 11 – 44 days before departure date: a 50% refund.

Cancellation made up to 10 days before departure date: you will receive a full refund less 10% if your cruise ship or flight does not stop in Belize for any reason, or if weather conditions or other factors force you or us to cancel your reservation.
