At your arrival, your driver & guide will be waiting for you at the entrance of the airport to drive you to the Quelitales Hotel.

On this day you have the option to choose your own adventure to enjoy different activities according to your preferences.  

After breakfast, you will have a private transfer to Juanilama which is located in Pocosol de Santa Rosa around 1h approx from La Fortuna. 

It is a rural community. where you will have the experience of staying at a very beautiful homestay.

Also, you will have a free afternoon and then you can enjoy a cooking class to make your dinner. 

It would be an amazing experience!

Within the community is the Reserve Ecologica Juanilama a primary forest of 25 hectares that protects an impressive waterfall, you will have the opportunity to visit and learn about La Leona Waterfall. Throughout the walk, a local guide offers information about the existing flora and fauna.

Also, you will have the option to participate in craft/recycling workshops. An interesting and practical way to convert common waste such as paper, cans, and plastic bottles into handicrafts or usable utensils.  Doña Elena will be your teacher in this. 

You can also learn to make handmade soap, make figures, and put the smell according to your taste.

Overnight: Homestays 

After breakfast, you will have a private transfer to Zapotal de Miramar which is. 

This trip would take around 4h approx. 

This small hotel offers a restaurant, bar, beautiful gardens, and free Wi-Fi.

Overnight: Posada Rural las Orquideas. 

You will have a tour around the place combined with farming and cheese making. 

Also, you have the option to enjoy the bird-watching activity.

Your amazing trip is coming to an end! You will take a private ground transfer to San Jose Airport where you will connect to your flight home. We hope you enjoyed your trip and will come to visit again soon!
