After Breakfast we will set off for two days trekking in the jungle. We will walk and explore and finally pitch our hammocks before settling down for the night.

Our guide will explain the next two days trip and also any safety points. We will then prepare and pack our gear and depart.

Your lunch in the rain forest will be a simple meal prepared by yourself under assistance from our guide.

During the day your guide will share his knowledge and tips and hopefully we will get to explore the interesting plants, species and more wildlife.

You can catch your own fish, bugs etc and prepare your food over a campfire with help of your guide. Or you can eat the food that you have carried with you.

We will be overnight camping in the jungle with hammocks and mosquito nets in a camp prepared by our group.

 You will be awoken as the rain-forest awakens! You will have the chance to listen and hopefully spot the various species of wildlife that have been sharing the canopy with you through the night.

After our breakfast we will head off for another trek and our final lunch under canopy, to finally return to Leticia for around 5pm.

Here we will get back to our hotel and organize ourselves before going for an evening meal in Leticia.

 After breakfast we will head down to the harbour and catch the local boat at 8am for Mocagua. Along the route we can expect to see Dolphins and a great variety of bird life.

Once we arrive at our lodge for the next two days. We will grab lunch and then set off for a small hike into the jungle to see a monkey sanctuary where illegally captured monkeys are rehabilitated and then free to go back into the wild.

Evening we will  go looking for Caiman/alligators or for a night jungle trek to see what spiders, frogs, snakes and other creatures are lurking in the rain forest. (depending on the time and group it may be possible to do both trips or a combination)

 We will set off at 5am for a boat to take us across the Amazon River to an island where we will get the chance to see the various species of birds. We will then have a simple breakfast before exploring a bit more of the island.

We will head of back to our lodge for lunch and get ready to depart back to Leticia for the night. Once we arrive we will check into our hotel for the final night before going out for our farewell evening meal. For the more adventurous of you we have the option to go and try a local delicacy of grubs!

 Depending on your flight timing we will have the chance to go shopping for gifts around Leticia or Tabatinga. We will then set off to the airport for your onward flight.
