One of the reserve's newest lodges is Tucan Eco Lodge, which is situated downstream on the Cuyabeno River. It is around 30 kilometers from the park entrance and can be accessed by canoe, depending on the season. The Lodge can accommodate up to 24 visitors in its two guest huts, each of which has three or four cabins. Each hut has a double or triple bedroom if necessary, a private bathroom and shower, and space for two to four people. Depending on the season, visitors can watch pink river dolphins from the platform of our resort's hammock-lined leisure area that overlooks the river. Every customer is accompanied by a qualified naturalist guide and an authorized canoe driver since we understand how important a skilled guide is.  

 We are taking a bus to the Cuyabeno Amazon Jungle. Throughout the twelve-hour drive, we will pause a few times so you may get food and drink and use the toilet.

The journey starts at around 12 p.m. at the Cuyabeno reserve gate and lasts for around three hours as we ride down the river to our lodge while searching for monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. Midday meal and leisure time. You will swim, take in the sunset, and explore the river and lagoons in the afternoon in search of additional wildlife. You will go on a canoe trip at night to look for caimans. evening meal. Every evening, our naturalist guide will offer a variety of lectures on topics related to the Amazon rainforest, such as "Culture and communities, flora, fauna, and conservation," for any of our guests who are interested in knowing more. 

 After breakfast, you will have a four-hour walk through the main forest accompanied by a naturalist guide who will tell you about different kinds of insects, frogs, birds, and medicinal plants. Relax and have lunch in the camp. In the afternoon, you may explore the waterways in a traditional rowing canoe and appreciate the uniqueness of nature. In addition to enjoying the river's sunset, you might even be able to see some pink dolphins if the weather permits. Return to the lodge to prepare for the night climb. Dinner. This evening, you'll get the opportunity to learn about and try some of the Amazon's traditional drinks.  

 After a delicious breakfast we will visit the community, there an indigenous woman will guide us through the community, where you will learn about their culture, clothing, language but especially about their gastronomy since with her we will prepare our lunch. In the afternoon the shaman of the community will teach us about medicinal plants and rituals of the Amazon. After this exciting day we return to the lodge, have dinner and relax. 

  In order to observe the dawn and search for birds, we will take an early morning stroll along the river. Following this exercise, you will return to the camp, eat breakfast, and have some time to organize your belongings. You will then paddle the canoe back and spend around two hours along the Cuyabeno River looking for further animals. Around 11 a.m., you may catch a shuttle back to Quito at the reserve's entrance.
