Half an hour before the appointed time, we will meet at the river port of Leticia to board a boat to Puerto Nariño. We will cruise the Amazon River for two hours enjoying the biodiversity of this incredible natural environment. Once in Puerto Nariño, we will begin to explore this town inhabited by indigenous ethnic groups and talk about the Ticuna, Cocama and Yagua tribes.

In the late afternoon, we will get dressed with the appropriate equipment and embark on a night expedition through the jungle area of Puerto Nariño, where you will discover many exotic insects and amphibians! Finally, we will retire to the hotel to rest.

We will start the second day with a delicious breakfast and a visit to Maloka Tikuna. Together with the local families, you will learn about the ancestral rites of this Amazonian community and their customs. In addition, you will participate in a workshop of native games and natural painting. 

After recovering energy with a traditional lunch, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Loretoyacu River. During the trip, we will talk about the crocodiles, piranhas and river dolphins that inhabit this place. To end the day, we will watch the sunset over the river and spot the black caimans that frequent the area. Afterwards, we will have dinner and return to the hotel to rest.

Sunrise with unique views of the wetlands of Lake Tarapoto. After breakfast, we will return to Puerto Nariño to cross the jungle using a trail of wooden bridges for unique views of the area!

After three hours on the road, we will arrive at the indigenous community of San Martin de Amacayacu, where we will be welcomed by a local family. We will enjoy a traditional lunch and visit the community to learn more about their lifestyle, crafts and language.

We will spend the night in a hotel in the community.

We will start the fourth day with breakfast and navigate by canoe through the Amacayacu National Park to Mocagua. In this indigenous community in southern Colombia we will discover the traditions and customs of the Amazonian tribes.

After lunch, we will head to the monkey sanctuary of Mocagua. The primates housed in this center have been rescued from illegal animal trafficking in the country. You will be able to greet and feed them, it will be a unique experience!

We will end the day resting at the hotel in Puerto Nariño.

The last day of the tour will be dedicated to return to Leticia. After breakfast at the hotel in Mocagua, we will head back at 7:00 am.

We will arrive in Leticia 90 minutes later and say goodbye at the starting point of the tour.

The transfer will begin to Leticia to take the flight to Bogota, with this, we end our services. We hope to see you again soon!
