This is a journey of remembrance to honor the women who came before us.
We will connect with the past by weaving our personal threads into it, exploring ancestral traditions with intention. This women's retreat is designed to help you connect intentionally and respectfully with the land and with Greek/Balkan traditions. We'll learn about the wisdom they kept so that we can become stewards for future generations.
While this word is often used to refer to material inheritance, we will consider that we, too, have inherited entire ways of being from our ancestors. And yet, we live in 2026, during the ascent of AI and a time when technology moves faster than ever. As such, many of us feel disconnected from our ancestors and the land itself. This retreat will be a container for connecting slowly with tactile, human experiences.
Through craft, mindful discussion, time in nature, connection with sacred sites, and more, we'll work to integrate our inheritances. We will even discuss the less-than-sunny sides of it all in a non-judgmental environment.
Many of our women ancestors lived under difficult circumstances - we have an opportunity to connect with what they held and passed along in a freer way, which they weren’t able to do due to social roles and standards. Let's celebrate the gift of what came before and build a world where we can mindfully carry traditions forward into a more equitable, kind world.
Note that you absolutely do not have to be a woman of Greek descent to join and embrace this retreat: this is for anyone called to reconnect with the 7 generations (and beyond) that we carry in our bodies. However, the subject matter will be Mediterranean and Balkan traditions, and will likely appeal more to those who are already interested in Greek/Balkan/Southern Italian/Cypriot/Anatolian culture and/or who descend from these places.
Experience Delphi, the site of the ancient oracle, with an experienced guided tour. We'll also connect with the place on a deeper energetic level.

Wine making has been sacred in Greece since ancient times. We'll visit a very special vineyard in a traditional village - this is not a "basic" wine tasting experience!

We'll provide a journal for our workshop and any free writing you'd like to do throughout the retreat.
A comfy stay in the mountains of Greece, not far from the "navel" of Delphi, a sacred site.
Want to stay with friends and family? Have a favorite hotel? We left this open for you to have choices. Activities will have an easy central meeting point. We can also help you book something.
Highly recommend!
