Tour the historical town of Ronda, where the architecture of the traditional manor houses and the historical monuments lead you on a walk through the history of civilizations and the legends of XVII century bandits and bullfighters.

Take a road trip to the shopping paradise of Malaga. Visit the Picasso Museum and then go back to the city center to enjoy a “Café con leche”, a glass of Malaga’s typical wine, or some of the delicious tapas this city has to offer. Between the road trip, the art & history, and the delicious food and wine, it will be hard to find another city like this one.

Not only will you be able to appreciate art, history & culture on this trip, but of course we had to throw in some adventure. Day 5: Outdoor Adventure

Day 5: Outdoor Adventure image

Choose your own adventure- Hiking or Canyoneering

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, choose one of the following options.

Option 1: Hiking in Caminito del Rey

Today, we live in a world of haste and speed. We propose that you stop for a moment and see how everything revolves around us at a different pace, slow, relaxed, a pace that gives us time to enjoy nature. Discover, step by step, the real

Spanish scenery. The Gorge Desfiladero de los Gaitanes is a natural beauty spot, placed in the center of the province, between the towns of Alora, Antequera and Ardales. This is one of the most beautiful spots of the Malaga Mountains. Between its steep and considerably high walls, the river Guadalhorce flows, after having passed through the reservoirs El Chorro (The Spurt), Guadalhorce, Guadalteba and Gaitanejo.

The Gaitanes Gorge is a canyon, carved by the river Guadalhorce in the territory of Álora, which at some points is only 10 meters wide and 700 meters deep. The northern access to it is via Guadalhorce reservoirs, and the southern is via El Chorro. The total length of the route is 7.7 km, divided into 4.8 km long access ways and 2.9 km long boardwalks. Estimated time for the full length of the route is between two and two and a half hours. Visitors should mind the long distance and the steep slopes that are to be covered to access the boardwalks.

Option 2: Canyoneering and Waterfall Rappelling

Crystal clear waters, waterfalls, slides, jumps, pools, kettles, and rappelling, a wild, entertaining and complete canyoning guided by professionals who will show you the ropes if you are a first timer.

Lunch and dinner at leisure.

Overnight: Soho Boutique Castillo de Santa Catalina

Gibraltar & ferry to Tanger, Morocco

 Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, meet your private guide and transfer to Gibraltar.

The name Gibraltar is derived from the Arabic expression Jebel al-Tariq which means the mountain of Tariq. Tariq-Ibn-Ziyad was once the Moorish ruler who captured the Rock in 711 to use it as a bridgehead for his planned invasion of Spain. The area around Gibraltar was re-conquered by the Spanish in 1462, but later in 1704 Sir George Rooke took possession of it for the British and it eventually became a Crown Colony in 1830.

Once you are in Gibraltar, a short bus ride will take you to the top of the famous Rock with a stop halfway to visit the iconic Apes’ Den. The views from the top (426m) are spectacular. Admire breath taking views stretching over Africa, the Spanish south and west coast. Enjoy some real British shopping along the bustling main street where duty-free shops sell all kinds of alcohol, perfumes, and electrical goods. If shopping is not your cup of tea, why not go for a pint of beer in a traditional British pub or find a rooftop patio and enjoy the view.
