About this trip

Andean Herbal Immersion - A Journey into the Heart of Cusco through the Sacred Wisdom of Herbs. We will explore the native plants of the Andes, learn intuitive plant medicine, make natural products, create ceremony together and visit Machu Picchu! This 10 day experience will enliven your senses and allow you to deeply connect to the sacred land and plants of Peru.

Welcome Ceremony & Equinox Ritual

To kick off the week we will gather early in the evening for our first dinner together prepared by our amazing retreat chef. After meeting your fellow travelers, we will gather around the fire to welcome in the Spring Equinox and set our intentions for the days ahead. This will be a powerful evening of deep connection with the earth and the new moon.

I’m Maria, founder of Luna Nueva Retreats. I first came to Peru in 2010 and instantly felt deeply connected to this extraordinary land. When I first arrived in Cusco I had planned on staying for a week and that turned into a year! Since then, I have spent my time living between Peru and Northern California, teaching and hosting retreats and workshops about herbalism, energetics and yoga.
